Sadness Falls Like snow

Sadness falls like snow
A blanket upon the ground
Where footsteps may go

A place where love once had been
And memories no wind could blow away
If love be but for a day

I think I feel the stillness left to say
Some hurdles too high for the heart but what do I know
Sometimes sadness falls like snow

What do you know? You know that 'some hurdles too high for the heart' and 'sometimes sadness falls like snow' rose

Beautiful poem - and 'memories no wind could blow away' -I've heard memories described in many ways - this is one of the most poignant I've ever laid eyes on.

Lovely poem, EyeLook4U purple heart
