8Dreams, I think we all need a hug from a friend, family member, or partner. When we hold hands, embracing ourselves in a short hug makes us feel happy. We all need the touch. For lovers I think it bonds them together, even more, to feel the closeness.Many people have pets to feel this interaction even if not human. Can you imagine how many people left this world during the pandemic not to even hug their loved ones goodbye? Teddy bears will always be around us for sure.

Oceanzest, glad you don't smoke anymore. I was one many years ago. That first spark smell is unforgettable. Every time I get into the elevator with the residents that smoke, the tobacco smell is no escape. See, in our building smoking is not permitted so you have to go out for it.
