Mizzy, We have an expression in the northern reaches of New England. It's called "Mush Mouth". Simply put just about anybody can speak an authentic local dialect by saying anything they wish to like they have a mouth full of potatoes. Try reading out loud my poem above this way and you'll be amused.

IG, I really like this poem a lot. It is important to define 'what' are looking for instead of 'who' we are looking for. Maybe it is even possible to fall in love with your dream-guy or dream-girl, and the rest of the story is making your dreams come true?

Sorry for your loss Salamuna you express your emotions and love very well .I feel for you and can relate to your sad experience. It is hard to let go but hopefully some a comfort comes from knowing your beloved dog is at peace with no more suffering. Memories are very precious to us and can bring joy but also can be painful too for a while. Lovely poem thanks for sharing it with us all

Polar Bears in the Arctic and Penguins in the Antarctica. Both are facing dangers from the melting ice and rising oceans. It's sad that the animals have to suffer from mankind's stupidity.Have a good New Year LCBR.

Amen to that. During the 1930's during the Great Depression, the US Government put hundreds of thousands of unemployed workers to work planting trees. I don't understand why the governments today can't duplicate those efforts to save our planet! I suppose it's because we are all too well off to care more about ourselves than to save our planet. It's so short-sighted.
