the grave is our destiny
where none whatsoever can be changed
it's a wholesome place all to yourself
and nothing accompanying you but the wind
you hear nothing, not even their tears
that builds up from rivers to oceans
if only it was said before your destiny
perhaps it'd have made a difference
now you're all alone sad and forlorn
a world only you can dwell
but I know deep in my heart
everything you've had is remembered well
oh rest my love, soon I'll be there
where fate crossed not in this life
but somewhere love knows no bounds
and our love once more entwined

Soon we'll all meet our Maker

I'm waiting on the rain to cool things down
I'm waiting on the bus to come to town
Just one bag will hold all my clothes
Where I'll be this time tomorrow heaven knows
Time for me to leave even though I'm nowhere bound
Sometimes love doesn't happen and that's the way it goes
I'm waiting on the rain and the bus to come to town
Goodbye rose
Don't feel bad for me I understand
I've been through enough pain that I became a man
I've had some highs and a lot of lows
Here comes the rain and the bus goodbye rose

I wander alone through this murky wood
Thoughts of you once again fill my head
Will you walk this wood with me someday?
Carve our names on a tree?
Will you take my hand and place it on your heart, kiss my lips, promise we'll never be apart?
Will you catch me when I fall, love me, warts and all?
Is it just wishful thinking?
Or can it be, you also dream of me?
And so as I walk closer to the end of this long and lonely path
I look up to the clouds and whisper
"One day I'll find my way, for now though, come what may"

Writing for magic or money
One thing is clear
Wish I had the magic to make money appear
Writing for reason or rhyme
Love could be a reason
Love could be a never ending line
Writing for thought or pleasure
This is what I find
It was a pleasure to know you if but for only a short time
Writing for jest or seriously
Looking for the words that binds
Love is found deeper when you read it between the lines

If we achieve some of our hopes today
Then we become worthy ourselves to heed
Worthy as to imply our importance Hurray
Only imploring a greater sense of need
Truly a need to understand ourselves
And a need to understand our differences
Where might we rest our efforts to succeed
I think it is important we create sustainability
An ability for people to get together and conference
Speak about things and talk to each other to discover
A common purpose that we must seriously advance
Perhaps the environment for some, equality to others
Whatever your rhyme or whatever your reason
Together we can resolve what needs to be done
Get up and dance and enjoy the season
For all you know you could be one and gone

About this poem:
Don't ever give up on yourself.

Did we become us by accident, or was it by design?
And when we die and resign, and leave this place for
Another space, will you still be mine?

Seems it's been my faith for a long time
That God would keep me young till I can have a life
Yes it's been that way a long time
And someday something good will be in sight
Stormy weather can't last forever
There's not enough rain to wash away all my dreams
Someday life will be so much better
For what's in my heart was put there by the king of kings
I'm writing are you reading is there anyone
Now on this page this is the time for me to write
Don't you believe God will keep me young
Till I can have a life
Seasons come and seasons go
And when the ground is covered with snow
My thoughts of her will still be sweet
Follow my tracks and a young man you will meet

gold hidden 'neath the rugged earth
upon which lay your quest
yet murky and turbid is the dew
that is harvested in a cup of sand
your weakness never sets
over the parched and scorching heat
nor will your strength
ever laid to rest
until you will run out
of your sweats
you will want to know
deep within your heart
why all this land
is covered with blood
and as the world lay witness
and yet mightily unconcerned
to its naked plight
your mind will never fathom
why the rift is burning strong
so you will keep on digging
until you reach the bottom
hoping it will lay bare
all the reasons,
that this blood covered land
is a conflict no more
in the mighty difference
of white and black color
but the gap of those
who have and who don't
the question is...will man ever learn
how to vanish indifference?
give to those that have not
and even out the earth's wealth
so revolt will not explode?
perhaps nobody really cares...
you are alone, abandoned
on this quest..
buried
in a drifting sand
stained with ruthlessness
by the greed of human hand
glued forever
in human blood.

FOLLOW YOUR HEART, IN TIME THE REST OF YOU WILL FOLLOW.
TAKE MY HAND IF I'M YOUR PERSON.
WALK WITH ME, THRU THIS THING CALLED LIFE.
IF YOU EVER HAVE DOUBT, I WILL EASE YOUR MIND.
IF YOU EVER GET SCARED, I WILL HOLD YOU TIGHT.
IF YOU EVER CRY, MY HANDS WILL DRY YOUR EYES.
IF YOU STUMBLE, I WILL CATCH YOUR FALL.
AS FOR ME I FOLLOWED MY HEART AND IT LEAD ME TO YOU...

Is it me, or is it you?
Gave my day a sunny hue;
With your smile (and your wink too),
As we sat waiting for some stew.
Is it me, or is it you?
By the window, caught a view.
That is when I thought I knew
What real contentment was to you.
Is it me, or is it you?
Tell me quickly what to do.
Can it be that it’s you, who
Has my heart, and rent’s past due?
Is it me, or is it you?
I think it’s me….:-)
