"LIFE'S LESSONS"

Sat on her lap till age eight or above, my mother taught me how to love. Sunrise sunset not afraid of the dirt my father taught me how to work. "Dont back down, when your right, your right" my grandma taught me how to fight. "God comes first every day all day" my grandpa taught me how to pray.

Deck chair for hire.

My nanna used to bring me to Blackpool beach,

I was her favourite little peach.

I remember that day as clear as the polar bears in Iceland,

As I was sitting on the donkey his footprints in the sand,

I heard a yell so I looked behind me

What did I see,

My nanna laughing hysterically on her cushioned bum,

The hired out deck chair had come undone,

Oh I loved those days with my nanna

Under the Blackpool sun.

My memory's of a hired out deck chair,

And my lovely nanna .

Your not forgotten.

Christmas

She loves christmas, why?, her beauty is enveloped in the childness and wonderfulness
of it all, the sound of christmas songs, the lights that light the sky, the smell of christmas cooking, and the happiness in their eye, the feeling deep inside, of wondermant she cant hide and all it come to be, is the child she wants to be! xx

thru the eyes of a child

morning light
summer wind
fading glimpses
soon begin

apple for the teacher
filled with delight
putting on your jacket
don't leave my sight

playing ball
sure is great
hit a homer
now race around to the plate

sept again
pile on the bus
dressed in your best
just like all, you could trust

nervous as hell
with a face full of pimples
its prom time again
ask the one with the dimples

wow what a journey
filled with laughter and joy
this was my tale
from an author named Roy

a girl and her teddy

A little girl so alone in a world
a magic friend comes into her life
now they will never be parted
now they are best friends forever
Jasmine and the magic puff ball
together they will change the world never wanting darkness again
Trust me trust me darlin
now is do or die
tremins around
he'll always be found
but with a simple wish they knock back into the shadows
of your heart
Jasmine and tinkie there till the end
never before has there been such good friends

its so simple even a child can do it

day after day
and nite after nite
I search thru the darkness
to seek out the light

flies on the wall
tics in my bed
what does this mean
visions of you in my head

sitting at the desk
pounding away
tap click tap tap
is what you hear all day

mother watching tv
naked and afraid I think
see the monkeys do their thing
boy they look like they stink

snow flies up north
without prejudice it seems
it don't care who you are
frozen car door! You scream

just another freestyle
theres nothing to it
its so simple that even
a child could do it

Wonderful place

Gather all around come sit with me
I have a great story to tell you, you’ll see
Of a wonderful place way over the hill
Where rainbows all start, come see if you will
We can go there today, let’s go there at once
So close all your eyes it starts with a bump
Hold my hand tight as we go way up high
On this magical mystery old carpet ride
There are games we can play and lollies to eat
If you feel like it you can watch telly on a cloud seat
You can swim in a lake made out of chocolate mud
Or throw a egg high watch it come down with a thud
For mum and for dad there are things for you too
It can last the whole day all the things there for you
You can eat all you want and drink if you wish
Or float on the lake and catch a star fish
You can float right on by or lay and sun bake
No cleaning, no worries no decisions to make
You can sing with the birds and dance with a bear
You can ride on a bike on a road to no where
It all up to you whatever you choose
As it’s all in your mind, there’s no way you can loose

matt

i once saw a bat
and then he shat

on my face, and so began a tail of one man
and his unconventional fetish
an everyday fairytale
some might say
but im not gay

or am i?

Daddy why?

Can you hear me?
Your husband was
Much into himself
He spent his time
In bars and shooting
Pool
He talked about
Women as though
They were all whores
Then he'd go home
To his wife and
Play the same old
Game
Hello honey, I'm
Home!
Really..
What would that
Really mean? His sons and
daughters looked
To him for a morsel
Of attention
But their tender hearts
Were bowed down
By no response
Can I get a hug
Daddy?
No, I'm busy right now
"Daddy, I gotta A on
My test paper today"
Not a word
The wife is mixing
The dinner
The dog is not sure
If he'll be kicked
There is an anger
In the house that
Frightens the hearts
Of children
Children who desire
To sleep in the strong
Arm of his protection
But he left them
With the monsters of
Their imagination
"Daddy who are you
Their quivering hearts
Question"
"Daddy please! I
Need you for
My happiness!"
Daddy, can I stand
On your shoes and
Will you dance
With me?
"Daddy, don't hurt
Mommy!
Daddy please stop!
Daddy!
