Beyond//

We invent a million excuses for not attempting the things we have always wished to do, finding new reasons to put off new experiences. We all have an instrument we want to play, language we want to speak, skill we want to develop or improve. For some reason, we don’t-speak wait and think we’re too late to the game too old, too busy. Take this book, opportunity, to be the push off
the starting block you needed. Begin-today. Whatever the thing is that you’ve convicted yourself you’re incapable of starting, start.all of us out here, are waiting to read this book you haven’t started,
Listen to the song you were supposed to write, hear you laugugae
You’ll need to go to all place you were born to vist. This simply an extension of the challenge we just presented you this is push to starting the thing you’ve been waiting to start, the big thin, the lingering wish in back of your mind. So please, we urge you, try.

The Silent Telephone

Just a note
to say hello,
waiting on a bowl of gumbo.
Seems you are a no-show,
Probably sneaking off again with the maestro

Long ago
known for her solos
but before she wore out her welcome on cello,
she tried to play jazz off a banjo
in the wine cellar was locked away her self-absorbed piano.

Summoned inspiration for a tune from an episode
from The Twilight Zone
which starred a fallen saint who lost her halo
When It rolled from her dome
while dipping her bent toes
into the dark cosmos
but pissed off a red demonic hippo
pouncing on a giant translucent minnow
So the story goes
she paid thru the nose.
The falling halo
was oddly enough snatched up by a swooping sparrow,
but dropped like a dirty ho
on seeing a dancing scarecrow
doing the tango
with a Hispanic gringo.
but crows are no dodos
Each of them has a mind of their own.
mostly Crows are at home
on sun baked roads,
like Idaho's
US 95 thru Moscow,
grilling up some squirming h*rny toads.
The halo tumbled for years through God only knows
til it finally landed on the Antiques Roadshow
in Chicago
following a dubious Van Gogh
spotted missing yet another ear lobe?!

"Awakening"

Awaken, dear soul, from your slumber deep,
Unveil your potential, let it no longer sleep.
Seek within the strength that you possess,
Embrace self-improvement, and let it manifest.

SO HORRIBLY UNKIND

Always trouble ahead,
So much trouble behind,
If I can't discover,
A way to hover,
Over this darkened cover,
I think I'll lose my mind,

In my home there's a room,
Shut in like a tomb,
And so disguise the lies,
Muffle my anguished cries,
That are so Horribly Unkind,

The glittering sparkles on a distant shore,
A ship set adrift forevermore,
Draws me falsely to delusionary hope,
I will no, not ever,
Find a way to cope,

Disguising the lying,
Muffle anguished crying,
Listen to my mournful sighing,

Sparkling glitter,
On a distant shore,
I am dying,
I have lost my
mind,
So Horribly,
Unkind

About this poem:
Life ain't right sometimes. In spite of our attempts to cope we can't seem to iron out all the wrinkles. We seem paused (stuck!) in a terrible place where our dreams appear gone forever and all we focus on is our problems, past, present, and future.

the crafty disciple(zen story)

after a zazen session;
a crafty disciple,
asked master oshiba,a question:
-honourable master whats behind
the door of knowledge ?

True love

I am wondering where is true love..
Once I lost love.. And it was painful..
I was thinking of that..was it true love
Might be not
If you love somebody seriously, you need to be patient sometime
That is also from love.
And you can try to make good relationship with that
Love is patient from kindness
Kindness is from love
Understanding also from love
Being helpful also from love
And forgiveness
It is not easy to find these..
We need to be seeker if you want
But if you deserve to get true love,
God will give us
Trust it
Pray for it
For our true happiness
And polish your heart
Our happiness is from only true love
But I still do not know where is my true love
I’ll pray quietly..

JOKESTER IN PINK

In the Labyrinth of Life,
One meets alot of queer folk,
Some will be straight,
Others will joke,

In their extreme,
They are called a Jokester,
Dressed in hot pink,
Stuck on life's lightning fast steep,
Roller Coaster

About this poem:
Kidding around is part of life. For some, however, that's all they ever do. Ever wanting to be the center of attention they become locked into a cycle of approval seeking that keeps them stuck. They never mature.

My first time

My first time occured in a barn.
There was a peaceful quiteness unlike any song.
She stood there and looked at me with those eyes.
Why me I thought, as I wondered why.

My first time may be unlike many others first times.
There was no beer or whisky or wine and dine.
It was only her and I in a moment to share.
A moment that was braught on by a simple dare.
She turned her head to show me her smooth neck.
She look back at me again wondering what the heck.
Then I approached her slowly and placed my hand on her back.
Where she made a gentle sound as I gave a gentle pat.

My first time is something I will never forget.
We just came in from the rain that made us wet.
After the pat on her back, I ran my hand up to her head.
This is the moment where she began to beg.
I ran my finger tip around her ear and down to her chin.
At this moment, I didn't know if what we were going to do was a sin.
I ran my finger tips gently down the front of her neck, to her shoulder.
I ran my hand gently and slowly all over.
I ran my finger tips down her side.
She wiggled a little and kicked me and I almost cried.
Didnt try to tickle her again after that moment of pain.
I ran my finger tips down her thigh, then I lost my keys in the floor drain.
Instead of trying to find those keys that fell out of my shirt pocket.
We settled near a few bails of hay where we unlocked it.
Gently I grabbed her and stroked up and down.
Slowly at first but as time went on, I knew we were going to be going down town.
Faster and faster till she squirted all over the place.
On my arms, my hands, my chest and my face.

My first time was unimaginable and full of wow.
This was my first time milking a cow.
