Where strangers become friends
that's a place I prefer to be,

Where expressions of inner thought
are shared by artistic poetry.

An attempt to show one's anger
due to circumstances beyond control,

An effort to portray one's affection
for a person they hardly know.

A desire to reveal one's turmoil
by painful and sorrowed lines,

Offered answers for a world's dilemma
of restless and worrisome times.

An effort to shed light on reason
where logic seems senselessly void,

Attempts to place smiles on faces
cause some to get rather annoyed.

The topics for poetry are endless
the writers are just as diverse,

To abandon our efforts of expression
through poetry would be a curse!

Just to think you are alright....just when you feel so damn right....and then just like that you're blind side...without a word or post to your fellow poets.... The issue on me that they had...was I had broken some kind of pact...of dos and Donts i'm not suppose to do....it's all very vague if you ask me ... From a good guy to some kind of monster...is that how they see me of my blogs and poetry? ...this is absurd and totally insane...what can I say and do while I wait my time in limbo... I did not condemn or insult upon any good man,woman or child...but the damage is already done!!! The worst to come out of this is to me painful...a poem I wrote long time ago got deleted.... It wasn't before when it came out and stayed for awhile ...it's the work of a particular woman ... And now i've got my radar to spot her...but I did not insult or made fun of any victim...so why did I became the black sheep...because I stand on what I believe is my opinion...my thoughts and heart is on my sleeve...ban me again if you have to...i'll still be here sharing what I believe...you have the right to ban and delete profiles... I have the right to believe in myself..in the end this poetry is about ...I WAS BANNED

FOR I AM AN ANGEL,
THE ANGEL OF MY ONE TRUE LORD ABIEL,
I AM HERE TO SPREAD HIS WORD,

Our will and engagement makes us feel honoured
Our powerful emotions are ruling supreme
Forces of our thoughts entwined on this long journey
Lifting us higher to distant places unexplored

Sometimes moon turns its dark side towards us
Silence of the orbital sphere arounds us
Our signals loose untill we hear a delighted voice
After the dawning sun a new moon rises again.

Gravity on earth, the sadness in our lives keeps us down
Knowledge of our mortality, deposit for our birth
Weakness and failure in the daily prospect unsteady
Hope remains, when all seems lost and forlorn

Your mind is beautiful ...your words are shield and swords. Your wit is mixed with wisdom, you are a light for many others ... You pull no punches,you hide no truth,beneath that shade of a woman,lies a girl whose heart is pure gold.:) this is what I think of you ,my words of dedication ;especially for a graceful lady ...that's YOU !

Modest I am not,
With flair I love to show alot.
I like to see white on black poker dots,
Sweet words wont make your heart melt or rot,
I am no angel Highpriest or demonic Overlord.

Fantasy realm is my game plot,
Visual effects with kinder tots,
Of sprites,fairies,monsters and gods,
Would play by senses you got.

By now you would already know my name,

I am not the man,
You are looking for,
Cant say I undertand,
Your reason and excuses anymore,

I am no sly Casanova,
Nor a devilish Count Drakcula,
Muscles are hidden from prying eyes,
I Dont even live a secret double lives.

I am not tall,dark or handsome,
Dont even live in a cosy home,
And then there are the social impact of being with me,
A beauty in lock arms with an ugly beast.

Will not her friends and family,
Look down and ridicule her for choosing me?
At the sight of trouble I flee,
Is that a weakness she will see?

I take heart that many men are like me,
All much better than me but still single,
So why is it so hard to choose a company,
For life is too short for you and me.

It is too easy to write about the birds and bees,
Of moon kiss sunlight seen on planet Earth,
Of nature and the four seasons,
And love or hate with boys and girls,
Dont forget mum,dad,brothers and sisters,
With extended families too many..
The list goes on ...
Of people,places and feelings,
Even science has not been spared,
With rhymes and their meaning,
Describing in every possible way,
That is the power of poetry at play.
Not much humour in most I would say,
And sometimes the odd ones I Dont comprehend,
Where does the magic lies?
Within the realms of every imaginative mind,
Where fantasy colours our stressful lives,
We share,cry and laugh too,
In kindred Spirit of passionate souls,
A boost of happiness and joyful pride,
When hearing praises from strangers and friends.

Oh by the way.
If you are reading this ugly poem,
Would seem to know that it does not rhyme,
Or have pattern mer rhythm of any kind,
Free verse is what it is commonly called,
Works for me is what i'll say,
And since we are always being nice,
How about some negative comments to boot!
Dont worry I am not fragile to break,
Made of stronger stuff of the highest grade,
This is my poem about poems and poets,
Hope I am not boring you with this again...,

Accidentally discovered poets corner
It became my new love
More exciting than movies or games
Oh yes, tried to stay away
Kept coming back over and over again
Found people that accepted me as I am
Free I was to be who I wanted to be
