dead end street

Dead end street back up and on my feet.so much pride but still I wont retreat.thoughtless pain an endless sea.unknown lies till my defeat.something new for everyone to see.love it hate it its just just me.hold it deep inside your head and heart and finally believe.i can write something that doesn't disappoint you or me.

Masquerade (Soulgoddess challenge)

In a quiet corner hidden by the dark she stands
her eyes sheltered by the mask and making her feel secure,
her red hair flowing down and helping to hide her face,
she looks out at the people dancing and talking around her and smiles.

she closes her eyes and imagines Him walking up to her, his aura mixing with hers making her pulse quicken, she has no need to see him, his manly smell seeps into her being and she sighs, his hands close over her shoulders and she steps back into his arms.

She does not need to see him, she knows him, he is from here and one day she will remove her mask and let him see her.

Till then, the Masquerade is best to be safe, her mask in place, until she is sure...

Choices About Life

Life is full of choices
Make sure you pick the right one
Don't listen to the voices
Hear only yours and you have won

Many people will tell you
You need to change your looks
Don't take to heart their view
Fabulous bods are found only in books

There is only one voice
That you should listen to
It will help make the right choice
That is perfect just for you

Your looks are your own
Someone will always love you
You will never be alone
Look in the mirror and you'll see who

Beautifulyou SOS for a best friend

Voices that cares,
Comes together to share,
A call for help cannot be ignored,
A plead for a special best friend.

SOS beacon our help,
Prayers and love sent,
My tears in heaven,
For his will to bend.

Jesus compassion,
Has no definite end,
Miracles abound,
For you and your best friend.

Amen

Thank you tribute to all poets

While reading comments on my and others poets cone,I thought how lovely, generous, friendly and encouraging is to read other poets comments support with all given kind attention and care and what a great example to each of us from the first day I started to write and pleasantly noticing kind welcome ...Thank you !

I like to share with you wise remark from Leo Tolstoy splendid novel writer of "War and Peace"; "Even in the best, most friendly and simple relations of life, praise and commendation are as indispensable as the oil which greases the wheels of a machine to keep them running smoothly."

You're all wonderful friendly people and it's great to share this poet cone with all of you. Thank you.

Complete moment

The light spills onto the floor
the large window open to capture the soul of the sun.

A breeze blows in and lifts my hair slightly, kisses my cheek,
and my mind closes off and becomes still.

My eyes close and I hear the sound of the world rushing by,
and as I open my eyes a soft butterfly settles on the window frame.

I watch her wings gently open and close and I know she is a gift from far away...
