That time when a naked soul
Aches in the cold of the late fall
For all the orange yellow and red
Snatched from the trees
Raked in piles
Scorched on the ground dead
When dragging days of solid grey
Are drenched in gusts of wind and rain
Another reason to complain
About life that slips in vain
When all far-out funky thoughts
Have fled in flocks
Away from North
To some place South
Nice and warm
Deserting winter marathon
Who to blame
When mind goes borderline insane
All wrapped in what has never worked
With chains of patterns and restraints
Set to recycle same old same
Unless you shake away the past
Hit the reset
And give yourself a chance
To break away and
Go looking for your path

About this poem:
Late fall is not easy on us unless we take time to appreciate the good and also to reflect on our life

Bored of hanging on there
An overstretched sweater
On a clearance rack
Would somebody take a notice
And help him back on track
The quality of the fabric
Soft to the gentle touch
The stream of warmth to share
At a deeply discounted price
Just hanging on out there
Not asking for much..

When you lose your shadow
And forget your dreams
When you step barefoot
On a lego piece
Or mistake shampoo
For a mouthwash rinse
And then blow out bubbles
Not being able to breathe
When it feels like your world
Is falling apart
From the man-made drama
And darts in your heart
Then you know you are tired
And just need a break
To restore your balance
And get your shadow back

Together will be the day
When clouds fall apart
When the sunrise will stay
Burning with its morning glory
Laughter will guide the way
Down this journey we start
Gently seas will sway
Dancing in and out of our story
A season will let us play
Till earth will fill our heart
The scents of love will stay
Joining roses and pot pourri
Together we will pray
That love will always chart
A voyage getting underway
Rowing away in our dory

Happy, jovial, ecstasy, bliss
Affection, passion, devotion this
Love is you and me, it’s joy
A dark-haired girl and a blue-eyed boy
Promise, potential, dream, delight
Separation, severance, parting, flight
Desolation, sadness, grief and pain
Wipe my tears, stop this train

I want to stay open
I don’t want to close
I'm taking a long time
Going through all nines
Thinking about you
I can see daylight
After a long night
I want to be free
Something happen to me
I want to feel alright
Dancing with star light
Thinking about you
Keep me in one place
A steady slow pace
Dancing with you
Into the long day
Making all the hay
Just making it do
Want to come home soon
Into you heart’s tune
Singing inside you
Let my love stay now
Making room somehow
All you make feel
Taking my time now
Because I love you

an old Cherokee told his grandson:
my son, there’s a battle between two wolves inside us all.
one is Evil. It’s anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, inferiority, lies and ego.
the other is Good. It’s joy, peace, love, hope, humility, kindness truth
the boy thought about it, and asked:
Grandfather, which wolf wins
the old man quietly replied the one you feed

Down down downhill
Spinning spinning tricycle wheels
Jumping houses, jumping trees
Brakes somewhere out of reach
Carried by breeze like a free flying witch
Down down down the hill
Spinning spinning spinning wheels
That felt like it lasted forever maybe...
A miracle happened I could not foresee
My father was there to grab hold of me

I’d like to be a nest
if you were a little bird.
I’d like to be a scarf
if you were a neck
and were cold.
If you were music,
I’d be an ear.
If you were water,
I’d be a glass.
If you were light,
I’d be an eye.
If you were a foot,
I’d be a sock.
If you were the sea,
I’d be a beach.
And if you were still the sea,
I’d be a fish,
and I’d swim in you.
And if you were the sea,
I’d be salt.
And if I were salt,
you’d be lettuce,
an avocado or
at least a fried egg.
And if you were a fried egg,
I’d be a piece of bread.
And if I were a piece of bread,
you’d be butter or jam.
If you were jam,
I’d be the peach in the jam.
If I were a peach,
you’d be a tree.
And if you were a tree,
I’d be your sap…
and I’d course through your arms like blood.
And if I were blood,
I’d live in your heart.
