Anew
expand to split the surface
lives engulfed by loss
Tsunami washes
the earth’s crust while salty tears
seep into the core
Hearts shaken, broken
lovely lives drowned, buried, as
seasons’ sun radiates.
Still underneath skin
hope courses veins, awaiting.
Spring, where is thy bloom?

My first attempt at a Haiku
HERMAN ON THE MOUNTby ~free cee!~
wouldst thine ears perceive that which others consider accuracy?
wouldst thine eyes open wide enough
to view what I consider reality?
must thou pierce his image
only to find The Son Of Man to be but a ghost declared?
then allow the great Shepheard and thou to be paired?
some swear Him God's most sovereign and righteous son
bearing so much anger they drop their Bible and pick up a gun
but He would rather thou layest down the sword
then for His name be the catalyst for damnable discord.......
upon a mount His sermon was thusly spoken
delivered to lepers and assorted souls all broken
His voice was heard by the righteous ones
and today woulst pray all enemies lay down their guns
so having pierced His flesh with thou finger such as a probe
I ask you now, wouldst then you bow before His righteous robe?

TO YOU PEOPLE IT DOESN'T MATTER WHATEVER POEM I POSTSO WHY SHOULD I BOTHER EXPLAINING THE OBVIOUS TO SO MANY WHO ARE OBLIVIOUS?
Growin' Up Moments prompted by 'The Willow Tree'
Hard at play, just me, and my best friend.
As white as the snow, he and I e'ver did play,
"Bunny' is his name, 'twas simple as the day.
Floppy ears noted, with the help of a magic pen,
Silly me, he's tamed; knew him form the rest of kin.
Except for this day, to my bitter disappointment,
'Bunny' 'tis ne'er to be found; I wail; I lament.
Then running to the sound of the hide-and-seek tree,
I witness in horror, what's been done to 'Bunny' and me.
My pal, my bestest, he's the latest of animals progeny,
My Dad, I'm hatin', he believes he's providin' sustenany.
I "cry me a river," cause I am so unbelievin' sad,
At the loss I suffered, albeit at the hands of my Dad.
Were we that hungry; were we that so freakin' poor,
To snuff 'Bunny's life, of that I'm still not sure.
