Gnj...human nature resilient as it is will surely bounce back...it has certainly been a bad year for earthquakes though. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Still underneath skin hope courses veins, awaiting.
I always feel good when I read your works! : ) But dont know what kind of words I should say...mm... beautiful, touch, nice, lovely etc.... When I read most of your poems, I felt like .....hmm...when I fell down, and you saw it, but you didn't give me a hand or help me to stand ... you just smiled and that encouraged me to get stand up by my own. : ) I feel like that. ^_____^ and it's more than nice or good feeling, cus it remains in the heart. ^_____^
and this poem also...^__^ I feel it! ^___________^
Q: Spring, where is thy bloom? A: My bloom is where my groom is. LOL ( so, where is my groom? eh?) lol
Hi, kickit22, gvmeu2, Macduff5, mike7375, Pinkpoetress, thesunandthesea, Fellsman, boyshchrm6, niah9, and pilgrimageoflove, I am very pleased that you read and commented on my haiku verses. Somewhere in the world, every day, tragedy strikes, people who do not die mourn, put one foot in front of the other, and move forward. What courage they have! It is the caring in each of you that is the bloom of spring's promise! thesunandthesea, your words touched me deeply and you remain in my heart while I offer my hand, outstretched, should it ever be required! My sincere thanks to all of you for taking the time to comment on my writing.

Meaningful write. The wrath of nature is minute in comparison to the disaster men create.
GNJ, your carefully chosen Haiku's meld into clear, and in haiku fashion, concise, expressions of the unemotional horror of awesome events in nature. Yet ending with a tentative, positive voice. Excellent. ;-)
Hi, nabii and agoodguy2have, Thank you for your kind comments. My heart struggled to write about this in any form but it finally chose haiku. Yes, I tend to think of Nature's expressions, however horrific, as neutral in intent. At the same time, I marvel at the human spirit's ability to remain hopeful in the face of such disasters.
