they are ok as long as you boil them first never give them to your dog raw. oh by the way you might want to keep a door open & stay downwind from your dog's rear end lol good luck!!
Well hurricane Rose never developed however I'm not taking any chances she can stay outside in her kennel tonight, maybe she will kill a few misquitos. hopefully Jack the next door nieghbors brown lab isn't left outside in his kennel.
Thanks for the comments everyone got some good laughs out of it at Roses expense, she doesn't seem to mind much though, oh man I just realized shes in front of the fan

Up-wind might be a slightly better Idea! Extinguish all open Flames and Pilotlights!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've learned that when camping, never feel sorry for your friends dog and invite them in the tent. The dog ended up with the whole tent and my friend and I ended up in blankets in front of the fire in 50 degree predawn weather.
Also, pitbull mixes enjoy rum and coke. Interestingly they suffer from hang overs too. Now, I never gave an animal alcohol, the dang thing stuck it's nose in when I wasn't looking and lapped it up... Since I like my hand at the end of my arm I just let her have it.

and chocolate.
though Amber, our deceased red heeler, scoffed a whole block of Lindt choccolate one evening and lived to wag her tail. She was most devious, having removed the chocolate ever so neatly from the packaging which she left intact in my bag. The subtle giveaway was a ball of scrunched up silver foil nearby.
romanticman4u: My Lab Rose was just fed baked beans , anyone have a funny pet story? just wanted to post a fun discussion /poll.
I'm not sure if beans make a dog "unwell" or not. You can feed dogs rice. Rice helps firm up pets waste. You have to mix tiny bits of meat and gravy in the rice to get the dog to eat it.

We had a bulldog named Scooter. It was nothing to see us coming down the road with all of our heads stuck out the window. Oh my God he could clear a room and it didn't matter what he ate. I loved his to death,
