Old Bob has picked up a since of humor since his earlier days on the Pentagon Paper and the Nixon tapes. Well he is writing on the Obama administration.

Because their first mission were happening in 2007, one year earlier than the 2008 transition. Later they would be critical to the bin Laden raid. Remember a few months ago when the left leaners were all hot for wikileaks and transparency? They would have loved to have all that intel released to the public.

Is America ready for the third Bush presidency? George P. Bush, son of former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, sure thinks so.
In an interview with The Daily Caller, the younger Bush said he's urging his father to jump into the Republican primary this cycle, and said the public shouldn't be surprised to see Jeb one day make a run for the White House.
"I think that time will only continue to benefit not only [former President George W. Bush's] record, but my dad's opportunity to run for higher office," George P. Bush told The DC's Jamie Weinstein. "Make no mistake about it, I think a lot of people sorely miss and would relish some sort of return of that type of approach to leading our country."
Two years have passed since a Bush was president. George W. Bush left the White House in 2009 with a dismal 22 percent approval rating, and his father, George H.W. Bush, was president from 1989-1993.
George P. Bush, who is pursuing a career in business but co-chairs a political action committee, said his uncle's legacy could not help but affect his father's attempts at higher office.
"For better or for worse, they share the same name, they share the same blood, and kinship, and therefore it's just difficult," he said.

Katt, Woodward was "imbedded" into the Obama administration for its first 18 months. So to write his book, he had open access to much of the documents and persons of the White House. To be fair, the WH gave him transperency and access.
But I don't think that the WH necessarily liked what Woodward placed into print. They did not trash it. But they mostly ignore it. He is not super critical of either GWB or Obama at least early in the book.
Seldom do we get a inside view of secret transtition intell meeting of a President-elect like Woodward gives us. From the meeting notes of Obama staffer that Woodward got....it was clear the GWB had figured out the Pakistani threat and he passed the information on to the next administration.
I am only a few pages into it. Woodward book seem to offer a lot of details that lefter would like to have. With transperency the PC of the day, Woodward used it to write a detailed book. But Woodward did not get word of the Stealth Helo. I checked the index, not a word on them.
So I think that the Obama is trying to keep some high technology stuff classified. While giving PC correctness and access to the day to day operations of the White House.
