We had our first "out of character" snowfall last month. The snow was so heavy and wet that it brought down trees all over the east coast which brought down power lines. Some were without electricity for two weeks especially in Connecticut and wouldn't you know, it was also cold and windy. The weatherman forgot to tell us that snow was on the way....
it snowed last night in vancouver. but didn't stay on the ground. big heavy flakes. very early this year. usually we don't have snow till end of december and more in january. but it's back to sunny outside right now.
This is technically our second snow fall of the season; we only had 1/2 amount of accidents from the first snow fall. Funny how people think because they have snow tired that they can stop on a dime when the hit black ice.

Our weatherman/woman are accurate but only within an hour of the weather change.
Hey! We had our first snowfall last night-It almost pulled my electric fence wires too low-My sister, Toni lives in Couer D'A Lene...Have you seen her???
We don't normally get snow, but just 30 miles away it snows. When it does snow here it doesn't stick. I don't like to be cold so I don't care for the snow at all.

Good question - I said I love the first snowfall ... we did not have any snow by now ... but to be honest - I hate the winter and now I keep waiting for spring and summer.
I don't mind the snow. Living here in Ohio, our weather is from one extreme or another this time of year. It can be 40's or 50's one day, and below freezing the next. It can drop a ton of snow one day, only to rain or melt the next.
The only thing that concerns me with snow, is the other people on the roads when they are nasty and slippery. I am very cautious and alert when I am out in it, more so then when it is clear. I've been driving in the snow for years now, so I am confident in my abilities when the conditions are poor. I have a 4x4, but I do not have a sense of being invincible because I do, just because I have 4 wheels driving my truck instead of 2 does not allow me to stop any faster.

Your dog is such a kool dude love seeing the pic you post of him he sure is a much loved doggy. We had one of thoses dogs when I was a kid, well he was used for pig hunting That breed was popular for that type of hunting ( not a pet) I don't like that sport and think it is cruel to the dog and the pigs. They use the dogs to round the wild pigs up and one day the pig got the dog around the leg and really made a mess of his leg poor dog. I have seen a lot when I was a kid as lived in the bush it was the way life back then I hated it
