It was many years ago (the break up), and amicable. We were married very young and just grew up into different people. The children were grown up and we decided to have new lives. of course it was difficult after so many years together, and we are genuinely fond of each other, but she had a flowering career she wanted to follow, and so did I. We handles our divorce without the aid of solicitors(apart from the legalities) and agreed on who would get what. Unlike some disaster areas amongst our friends.

Since 'ex' refers to past tense. It's not really any of my business if she's dating, or not.
Though we 'are' still friends and i'd like her to be happy. So if the right one comes along for her i'll be glad.

To me its who cares. I have moved on and personally I am happy when I hear my ex has met someone new. What is the point of staying angry at them? To me, its just extra baggage to carry around. JMO

I couldnt care less one way or another. I couldnt imagine him having an opinion if I was dating.Its our own business and ceased being each others business when we parted. The past is the past. You can never look forward if you cling to the past
