The stuff you described does not sound like nagging. If you are supposed to take the garbage out and she is helping you remember, that's not nagging. If you leave the toilet seat up and she almost falls butt first into a bowl of bacterial water, she has a right to demand that you put the seat down. If a girl asks what you are thinking abput, she is trying to get to know you better. Asking if you are listening implies that you are not listening which is a teeny bit hostile and disrespectful. You need to start thinking of her as an important person in your life (not a hole in the other side of the bed) if you want to keep her.

Nagging generally implies you have been asked to do something, have agreed and not followed through.
If I have to ask a man several times to do something we have already agreed he would...I get mad....no improvement? I end the relationship.
I do not like to nag and do not see any need for it to happen if you have already agreed on something. "yes dear" does not cut it!
