I don't think so but how one can tell.

A great many number of individuals have proposed somewhat like theories, to mention one with the most modern-day appealing one - The Scientology. :-)
*Especially in Bulgaria with its outdated textbooks/books on all sciences from engineering to medicine. In fact some textbooks from the 50!, which I suspect to have been straightforward translation from English or German sources, have much of the missing in the later editions valuable and basic facts. What a pity for the students and the teachers. As a matter of fact this have lead to a lagging economy that collapsed several decades later.

Well, I think that there is ample evidence being discovered of multiple universes in the same space, considering that what we think is solid is not actually solid at all.
I mean Angels and God lives somewhere, and heaven is not "up there" and hell is not "down there"... I believe that these concepts are "parallel" universes where others who are not physical as we recognise now live or reside.

The 12 dimension world though depends heavily on a few assumptions. Currently it's a go... on a blackboard. String Theory has split up into a myriad of directions nowadays. It's all confusing to follow it all, and nobody really has a hold on everything. We need another Annus Mirablis.

The holographic idea appeals to me as well as mandlebrots fractals

The remaining 6-7 dimensions are everywhere... they are simply coiled up so tightly on an unimaginable small scale that you can't say you experience it.... well that's one of about a dozen separate theories.

I don't know, I just said it was possible in maths. Once upon a time the same equations and theory were the only reason we had to believe in the existence of Black holes, and Einstein actually thought they were impossible in nature.. it looks as though he was wrong.
If alternate dimensions are to be found anywhere then it would be at the most fundamental and miniscule of levels. Hopefully, we'll know more in the future now that science has begun its great turning inwards.

Could be . Our knowledge and reach about space - energy relationship is very little. I always wondered about points where known physical laws cease to exist .like what happen in black holes. what could be beyond these points ? Multi-verses could be a reality in another frame . We never know. Most of current day ordinary objects were laughed off as wild fanatic imaginations years back. Only time will tell.
