Tuna has problems with mercury content nowadays. I don't trust it, so I avoid. IIRC Pregnant women are advised not to eat tuna.

I doubt if you ate tuna in veggie it would do any harm to you but I buy the tuna in water water but I still drain it.
The kind that comes with Veggie oil just seems too greasy even when I've drained it.

I guess it depends on the oil. I always remove the oil except if I use tuna in olive oil to add to a salad.
