My favorite season is Winter, after Spring, Summer and Fall. BTW, the Dafodils have bloomed around my water well and Robins and Cardinals are gathering twigs to make nests and the place is alive with other birds.
LoriJames20: Hi M1ck1e we don't have seasons here in Belize - it is almost always nice and sunny and we usually get our rains during the hurricane season.
dunlop67: Best season ever has to be winter...Ski season
The last time I went skiing I skied over the back of a ski instuctor's skis.
...and then whilst chatting to someone, accidentally started skiing backwards down a valley(left my ski poles behind). Person turned to continue chatting to me and I was gone.

Same day.
Haha,i can just imagine that, best way to stop sliding is to angle your skis in
Although I like Winter, Spring would have to be the favorite. It's like all the seasons in one. It's full of life and colours, and hearing the birds sing is a beautiful sign.
Newlife08: For me it would have to be winter when the temp dips below 20C during the day if we are luck!
I have a very small winter wardrobe, it gets cold when I have to wear something long sleeved in the evening and early morning. That's about it.
Best thing is it is the best time to get out and about, more energy in cooler temps.
Yep, have to agree. Cooler temps in Queensland would be ideal.
I remember I lived in Brisbane 1979/80...over summer. We had a thermalwave. I recall birds dropping from the sky, it was so damn hot. My then boyfriend, at the time, was working on the Commonwealth Games Stadium. They'd have to knock off before midday, on occasion, due to soaring temps.
We tend to get all our seasons in the one day on a regular basis here so would that be that I love them all or none of them...Summer if we got regular decent ones...We still haven't recovered from last year when we got a few weeks unbroken sunshine...We all walked around not sure what was going on when we woke up each morning and...yep, there was the sun again...Hopefully not a one off phenomenon on our little rock
I love the spring. The budding of flowers, the blossoms and the daffodils that pop up in every nook and cranny...wild. Warmer days and brighter skies after a long and dismal winter...but the colours in the wicklow hills in autumn are exquisite.
I read with amusement that most of the Canadians after suffering through the winter that just keeps on giving prefer the warmer temps, and most of the Australians down under prefer the cooler.
I live in a 4 season climate and I love late Spring/early Summer. The flowers/weeds are blooming and the chicks are chirping. The smell of freshly mown grass during the day and fireplaces at night. You can BBQ without pesky mosquitoes, and watch/tend to the fruits of your labor in the garden.
