Online dating works for online relationships. Unless you want to sleep with a computer monitor the rest of your life, the dating as well as the relationship has to move to the real world. Good things can be started online, but not completed - Just as a great pair of boots can be viewed and purchased online, but not walked in.

I'm still trying to decide if online works or not. I thought it did, until someone I got TOO close to (with his encouragement) dissapeared (hope that damn grizzly bear enjoyed eating him!!!!). Now I'm trying to open up again and give it another try. HOPEFULLY....it does work!!!! But I agree, it can't just remain online...it has to move on to more. And hopefully more and more...hint...hint...lol

I voted yes as well..I met my fiance on here too..and relocated where he is now..
It take alot of Time..and Trust and communication and all that good stuff to work

Yes imo it works, look at how many people are using it and succesfully got married with childeren again 
It is a good tool for those people who are working around the clock to stay afloat in this 24hr. economy. The counterpart on all this online dating is that people can wear a mask and NOT being themselves in either fysical or mental state but i think that is the challenge to find out, who that person really is. And with some experience fall and rise you will be easily able to pick the right one.

Yes, because if you're willing to work for it, anything is possible. The only difference with dating is it requires both people to be willing.

Online is only one more place to be available and open for a date. It should not be the only place as I think it is for many.
Of course it "works", but there is no magic, instead harder work to get a message through than in real life, where a smile and a word can do in five seconds what in here would take a month.

The fact we give it a name 'online dating' makes it seem as though it will not work..
We do not call meeting a person in a bar, bar dating, or a trian 'train dating'
It works, I know, depends on the people involved and what they both want and if two people meet here or anywhere else in this world, it will work if they both want it to.
