I have 2 questions I would like to ask all members on this dating web site. They are:
One of the biggest complains about online dating is that many people on a dating web site can’t find his/her dream person on it. According to me, an online dating web site is a great tool but many people don’t use an online dating web site correctly. Many people find a person on a dating web site he/she would like to communicate with via e-mail or via the messaging system provided by this web site. After a few months or when the excitement passed away, the communication with that person stops or slowly fades away until the communication completely stops or die. The reason why this is happening is because of the saying, “out of sight, out of mind”. In other words, if you don’t see the other person regularly, then a person will start to forget the other person over time. The best way to save the friendship from dying is to start to communicate with the other person via the software program, Skype, by using the video call option. If a person uses Skype, then a person can keep the friendship active, alive and exciting. If a person uses the video call option of Skype to communicate with the other person, then it is impossible to forget each other. The friendship also has a much better chance to develop in to a true friendship over time.
My questions are: a) Do you think that Skype can prevent a friendship from dying?
“Yes, Skype can save a friendship” means that Skype can prevent a friendship from dying. “No, Skype can’t save a friendship” means that Skype can’t save a friendship from dying.
b) Why do so little people on this dating web site use the software program, Skype, to communicate with people? This is a great tool to keep the friendship active, alive and exciting.

Skype has been around for years now, I think you'll find many people make use of it jan
The only way to cement a relationship is to get together physically, online communication tools are simply a time-filler and people can lose interest if that's all there is.
We all set our own personal boundaries as we see fit.
I can think of nothing worse then starting a skype correspondence with someone I'm not familiar with, and then being invaded with requests to appear in front of my computer at all hours of the morning (upon waking) or late at night after a hard day of work!

... Yea and some will say take your jacket off,
I don't even like skpeing full stop, I might skpe my bro about once every 6 months he knows I hate skpe.lol.
I used to use Skype quite extensively and as things developed I usually found myself on a plane and truly have some very fond memories. Skype helped me to get to know better special people in Ireland, Manila, Budapest and even Macedonia... Other places as well but those are places I ended up going to for the pursuit of a serious relationship. Even though there is good and bad in many things "Skype" is merely a device that can be used for good and best when it is.

Nice to have traveled to so many places. The things you must have learned about cultures would be interesting.
WTF Skype is a messenger, NOT a dating machine. Same sort of thing could be asked about telephones or texts. In many cases relationships that break down can in most cases not be repaired even by one on one contact. So the question/poll is irrelevant anyway.

In my case i can not use it and i doubt it would help any ways as its not likely ill have many friends let alone some one wonting to get to know myself as a person, over the time i,v been on the forums i have one lovely lady who is married and family and we are just nice friends ,
I dont expect any more than that and many i have made a contact with are not really interested even as a pen friend, and from what i see and know most women are only interested in men ,
or men looking for a women as in looking for a partner, most are not here for pen friends or i dont know just to be friends,
