No thanks.I always see gothic as a cathedrale. One of the major ones is in Paris (notre Dame),but as a person mmmmmmmm never been in the situation man. But if I have to be honest is more no then yes.

I somehow started disliking the combination of these two words "Open minded"...you never know what is the true meaning the person has put into it...It is like "GSOH", very few really have it...
As for the goths, errrr, not my cup of tea for dating, but have nothing against being friends...wine

I dated a man that used to be in a punk band and he said he the band never dressed like the fans that came to see them,

He said alot would dress in the full punk gear yet they knew nothing about the real music going on,

They dressed like that for appearances and tried to put on a hard punk image when in actual fact that is not what the band were about at all,

Anyway enjoy your goth look but it dosnt define. Who you are,

Still I like to dress up too,

I am also not so comfortable with the Open minded part as it can include a lot of things that my mind is not so open about. If you have to dress in a certain prescribed way to make a statement then you are just part of another flock of sheep....sheep are only good as food.

I've seen a few striking Goth examples when I was younger. But they are few. Also, some of the Goths that I did know, came with a lot of baggage, especially the younger ones.... self harming etc and attitude problems. Amazing some of those young people now I see being all standard nowadays and actually having jobs and wearing pink and normal stuff. laugh

We can take on that role,

My aunt had a brilliant fancy dress for New Years one year,best party I was ever at,

We all seemed to take on the role who we were dressed up as,

Mind you the booze aided the process,lol,


I'm glad I didnt go as a surgeon.

I don´t know what you mean by "open-minded", but I certainly would date a goth man anytime.
I don´t care much about the visual anymore. If he apreciated to the real goth sound (80´s post-punk) it would be perfect for me!purple heart

Open-minded leaves ALOT to the imagination, i think it all depends on context, it really covers a broad area...Maybe you have to be Open-minded to realize that...dunno laugh
But agreed i don't usually fall for the Goth time, to much out of my comfort zone, but everyone to themsleves conversing grin

A long time ago, I used black lipstick , also I used dental braces ..and wore some black dresses ...it was one of the interesting moments of my life..I was surrounded by guys all the time .. it was a successful moment...definitely smitten ..laugh..

Hi,

I dont dress in that style yet i do dress in our reinactment groups Renaissance 1400 to 1700 as my background is Prussian = German .
plus Edwardian 1900 to 1914 , more english yet i can bring in a little bit of EU in adorments not to much yet well what i can get away with . and of cause Scottish wear ,

Now as to dating . oh dear not sure on that one i do have a lot of males asking about myself and wonting to be friends..... Hmmmm maybe ...or is it more they wont so not really interested in men if it was for a lovely night out and ....NO.... strings attached maybe though i doubt any one here is with in 1000 miles and would they or you be interested . dont think so many are to young for me any way , so i,ll say no not going to happen ....well im a Kiwi
