I can't think of any better reason for losing control of yourself than love. The rest of your life is for control, routine, safety etc but love isn't. I think if you can't let go then it isn't love.. I want the rollercoaster ride of it all and to hell with the controlled environment.
But you've got to know when to quit. And you've also gotta know how not to carry the baggage over from all your past relationships.

It's like sipping on a heady sweet cocktail and no force will come between yourself and your love where the outside world ceases to exist,
Then you become more tuned into real life as the love cocktail starts to wear off ,,you still want to drink more but it is not as heady as it once was,
Yes honeymoon ,,lust,infatuation has weaned down but if you still hold some of its magic and make time for each other as well as your own space and your missing him when he not around And he you then it must be love when you enjoy just being in each others company,
