LoveRanger52: After a few years go by and several dating sites in your belt and still no luck finding "The One"
How do you still feel about your chances of winning the love of your life?
i think am done. honestly, i dont feel i will get a woman to settle down. i am an indian, and 90% of the european and american women have blocked countries like india as if we are just another wave of immigrants wanting to settle there. i am happy here and would welcome any one who would want to settle in india. but anyways, things dont go as planned in life.

Why are you looking for European and American particularly?

People don't block Indians because they think you are just after a green card. They do because almost always Indian men tend to behave inappropriately when chatting and or they do not have anything interesting to say.but mostly because they behave inappropriately.

Basing my answer on this site alone, I would say it's pretty remote that I'd find the right one for me. Our chances of finding the love of our lives is far greater out in the real world. So if you're on your couch all day chatting it up with someone but can't or won't take it to the next level, you're SOL.

If you've been on here a few years & still no luck, then it's time to change tactics.. My advice is, stop talking & start acting. Too many people have given up hope without really making a proper effort , so if you really want something, try your damnedest & if you fail, at least you've been true to yourself.

Yep...kinda what I was getting at in my post. A lot of talk and no action from what I can tell...save for a very few who have succeeded by making the effort.

Agreed, though the reality of some could be that you simply 'cannot draw blood from a turnip.'
I recon that's why some of us keep trying for that lotto, hoping that one day it'll hit and give the chance to make those dreams come true.

There's the thing...relying on a lotto win to bring something to fruition is an exercise in futility. We've gotta keep it real and only seek out those who are reachable. Maybe turnip knows it has no blood.

Hats off from me, for those who have made the effort, regardless of the outcome

Not only reachable, but maybe also be considerate of the other in regards to our culture and/or governed ways, should that be a concern. You know how that one is and can be.
