serena123: Hi bellla You are right But know as well as I do that it is still very acceptable here for a black man to beat his wife And still a lot of black woman who have no voice in a relationship
This is the same in other cultures as well it's not right but I think Muslim women in Saudi are very differently treated'
Care to show me reasearch to back that up? Common sense to you, every experience is relative, that is your 27 year old experience, that is if you have actually dated or married a Black man.
Men in general have more propensity to cheat, I know this cause I am older & a worldly black woman who is well travelled and well read. However you are entitled to your own opinion.

Hence I said times have changed & are changing for the rest. SA has a large black porverty rate, its a developing country, way better off than the rest of Africa. As much as there is a large number of liberated black women these days, black middle & affluent class, there are more still stuck in porverty with no choices. Fact is if you are 100% dependant on a man anywhere in the world, even the sweetest of man will treat you like a child at some point and not value you, period.

galrads: What's pinkdiamond3's view on this subject?
Im have a black mother and an irish father.. they married for reasons of love not race. I probably wouldnt be the best expert to say they make the worst husbands because I dated black guys a few times but never married any of them because of I fell in love with someone else at the time. I looked at the forums and saw an african american woman firing away on how black men are the worst ever. This is something some of my own friends who many are Caucasian, Asian, latina from different backgrounds and ironically they all hAD the same complaints about black men cheating making babies with several women, not being faithful, beating and being bad providers, Not to mentio all of them ironically were left to be single moms and always and had to raise their children alone carrying the weight financially . I just think women in general should chose carefully no matter the ethnicity nothing is gauranteed but it is ironic to hear the same stories from different people.I think we all have to use wisdom in who we choose to let in our lives no matter the ethnicity.. Im sure there has to be decent men of all cultures

Plenty of white men behave the same way, it's not about race
I think its just about integrity and values. What a person values they will love and treat well. The person im dating now is white and he is the most kindest, lovable person in the world and I couldnt imagine him ever beating nor disrespecting me in anyway. I think its about the man not the color

I think you are spot on about a number of things. Among my friends, several are black parents. These older parents raised their children in arguably good homes. However, their young black daughters have 3 or 4 children by different daddies. The men could be seen as being bad to them physically and child-support wise.
I'm almost convinced that these mothers could care less about child support from the biological fathers. Being a single minority parent gets them a lot of freebees from our federal government. Sometimes I think the federal government has created this situation where these mothers don't want or need fathers around because the federal government provides so much for them, including fees for education. The government has become the go to entity instead of family bonding. I could be wrong but these male children appear to be starving for that missing father figure in their lives... sad.
Dec 16, 2015 11:59 PM CST why do some women say black men make bad husbands?

Methinks "human values, human relationships, societal behavior" ...call it what ya damn will should be taught at school at an early age..... Cuts out the mud slinging later on.
pat8lanips: The American perspective is different from ours, but here its generally only a select few that do the white/black thing. Its a difficult thing to explain without being politically incorrect, but the kind of guy that chooses that life is perhaps looked down upon. The kind of lady choosing that life is possibly seen as trying to work her way up the social ladder.
Hey some guys choose a takeaway bride from Asia or Russia, and if that works for them and they're decent people no probs. But in general its not seen as an equal relationship.
Yes interracial unions aren't common here, in fact they would most likely turn heads.
Small population I guess, most coupling up with those of a similar culture and background.

Don't listen to her, there's no such, abusive men are there in all races, I'm black and my mum and grandmother are married to black men. I've never seen my grandfather nor father beat women and their wives.
