trumpy has tapped into what we have been feelin for years, they promised us that fence back in 05, congress passed it, the money was appropriated and than i guess they all went out fer dinner and drinks.

it's really the big money from rockefeller aligned corporations flowing to the US chamber of horrors/commerce that keeps the borders open,,and it suits the oligarchy/repos and demos to create more chaos for a larger police state,big goobermint,surveillance state, ultimately moving the train faster toward a cashless society.

Globalists have to have drug dealing/violence/terror attacks and money laundering on a large scale to nudge the public into their luciferian corntrolled cashless society.

and a third way thats even cheaper more permanent and already used by many countries and oil co.'s to secure property and pipelines, but when costs are too cheap the establishment WINO's cant git kick backs,

Every country has the right to determine who can and cannot enter it's borders, particularly in times like this when ISIS has declared war on us and everyone else, Most countries have very basic immigration rules that we, as Americans, would love to see actually implemented here. I find it rather disingenuous that people from other countries think it's ok to condemn Americans who want our when their own countries likely have stricter laws than we do.

I think none of it is unfair. However, I think the wall is silly, especially when you consider the length it would have to be, imho. Build a 10 foot wall and they will use 12 foot ladders.

Every time I drive through a major city I see miles and miles and MILES of VERY TALL privacy walls all along the highways. It's probably not the same wall Trump has in mind - and we probably need two walls...but for those who say it can't be done (not you... just generally speaking)...I think they just aren't thinking clearly. We probably have enough walls in America right now to reach China!

It will not work!

Apparently DHS, Congress and the American people seem to think the wall is necessary. We are, after all, paying for it as we speak.

The Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2008, required DHS to complete construction by December 31, 2008, of either 370 miles or other mileage determined by the Secretary, of reinforced fencing along the southwest border wherever the Secretary determines it would be most practical and effective in deterring smugglers and aliens attempting illegal entry. This provision also required the construction of reinforced fencing along a total of not less than 700 miles of the southwest border where fencing would be most practical and effective, but it did not establish a deadline for completion of the full 700 miles. DHS set a goal to complete approximately 670 miles of fencing by December 31, 2008. In December 2008, DHS reported that it planned to complete all but one of the fence projects by March 2009.

A Fox News/Opinion Dynamics poll indicated the American people favored a proposal to build a 2,000-mile security fence by a 51-to-37 percent margin. The total illegal alien population was estimated by Secretary of Homeland Security Tom Ridge at 8 to 12 million in December 2003, but Lou Dobbs of CNN regularly uses 20 million as a more realistic number of illegal aliens in the US. The sea of illegal aliens provides a cover and an environment in which terrorists can hide, and the tide of in-coming illegal aliens provides terrorists with a reliable means of entry.

This would bring the total to 1000 miles with these two mandates. That is already half of the 2,000 mile border between the US and Mexico

Oh, that's an astute observation. Sometimes I think we have as much wall area here in Ohio than the actual road surface area they surround. As you've pointed out, these walls are primarily for privacy, aesthetic and sound-barrier purposes.

Then selling/renting ladders might become illegal.
