lifeisadream: Will Trump keep his campaign promises? any predictions?
Top 5 promises Donald Trump's voters expect him to deliver on
The wall ..Without question, Trump's central campaign plank was his pledge to build a wall on the US-Mexico border. Trump made immigration a top focal point from the moment he launched his White House bid in June of 2015, when he controversially claimed that Mexico was sending "rapists" and "criminals" across the border.
79 % of his supporters said they favor building a wall along the entire US-Mexico border, according to the Pew Research Center.
'Lock her up' ..The chants began during the Republican National Convention. Soon, "lock her up" became a ritual at each of Trump's rallies. And at the second presidential debate, Trump told Hillary Clinton that, were he to win, he would "instruct my attorney general to get a special prosecutor to look into your (missing email) situation."
Muslim ban ..Just last month, Trump's running mate Mike Pence, who called the original proposal "offensive and unconstitutional," said that Trump no longer supports an outright ban on Muslims entering the US. But Republicans seem to believe Trump had it right the first time. Exit poll data from earlier this year found wide majorities of GOP primary voters in support of a temporary ban against Muslims from entering the country.
Repeal Obamacare .. Trump is now armed with a Republican House and Senate eager to repeal, though that would entail kicking up to 20 million people off health insurance.
Unravel NAFTA and TPP ..Trump has been resolute in his opposition to both. He has vowed to renegotiate the terms of NAFTA with Mexico and Canada, leaving open the possibility of pulling out entirely, and has said he will not approve TPP as president.
MnanahEireann: I wonder how the people who voted for him based on his promises will react when/if he doesn't deliver?
I think most don't expect most of these 'promises.' We're just tired of career politicians and watching our infrastructure threatened by more illegal immigrants and our economy going to pot. Just my two cents

felixis99: I predict that we will invest more in recycling technology as long as it continues to become profitable as well as necessary (unfortunately profit motive still usually wins). I think we will see an increase in industries that manufacture with trash...what could be better than basically free raw materials. And an increase in technologies that can use and reuse nonpotable water.
I think we will continue to see conflict over clean water, energy consumption, and territorial conflicts over some parts of the country contaminating air and water for those in other parts, and conflicts where some parts of the country want to dump their waste in other parts who then have to live with it. So I think we will also see an increase in communities trying to figure out how to deal with these problems more locally, not for legal reasons now, but because the laws may change (for local control of dumping....who can dump). So I think we will see an increase in a activism regarding local control of waste dumping as well as an increase in science.
But I could be wrong
Trash is being used as fuel already. People should be charged for the waste they produce. I do remember some decades ago in Maine, some friends of mine used to live in the woods and the trash collection would take their garbage only if the bags had a county-sticker (bought in advance) and that was not cheap.
Enough Clean water that is a challenge and we must pay for it and definitely a local approach to the RRR of the waste is the way to go.

rizlared: Being the "head of state" does not mean own, any more than a President owns the country he/she is president of.
In Point of fact, in the terms of the British Monarchy, the country owns the Head of state
The country owns the Head of State, meaning the country owns the Queen. Therefore, the people own the Queen. So, you do own the Queen but if you meet the Queen you do have to bow to her.
lifeisadream: Repeal Obamacare? ok Then? Has Trump a better alternative?
etc..
I want the wall like this
Trump hasn't revealed a lot on how he is going to accomplish anything. Maybe we should adopt what Mexico has done. Doesn't Mexico have universal health care coverage for everyone, accomplished in ~10 years.

We do have social Health care since long time ago. Public health care is not as good as private health care but everyone can get medical attention. Working people can have public health care in two major institutions, ISSSTE and SEGURO SOCIAL and their employers pay the monthly fee for them (included for gov workers).
Everybody else can have access to public health care with some cost, depending on their income or if people are unemployed they can have the medical treatments they need at not cost.
Public health care institutions can be good. The daughter of a friend of mine (17 yo) is fighting cancer and she is getting the health care in a public institution in Mexico city, they say the care is just as good as in the private sector, they are paying the level 3 fees (goes like from 1 to 7 or so).
Heath care is not an easy task and in your land there are big economic interests from people that are selling the health care in a private way and they do not want the free or low fees health care for the people: business, profit....

Yes, pharmacudical companies, hospitals and suppliers of durable medical equipment don't care about the people.
lifeisadream: I wonder how Trump will deal with it
Why do you care? Are You looking for Free Medical Care? better get your own high dollar Mexican health insurance or get lost; O'bozo care forced all the good doctors into early retirement.

Heal Yourself like the rest of us do .
This is an international thread so if you do not want to hear opinions different of yours, you might consider sticking to the USA fora, still not guarantee.
For your piece of mind: I do have the right for Social Medical care because I have been paying for it myself yet I do use private health care because I can afford it, the same way I have paid for my education, including English (it would not be a bad idea for you to improve your English though, unless you can not afford it )
How is your Commie friend Putin doing? still in romance with you beloved Trumpy?

((((laughin))))
You cant even honestly respond without Falsely planting a laughing emoticon in my response... i was very serious, we have a Huge O'bozo mess to clean up; so if you are looking for free health care check out local care in Mexico City and let me know how it works out for ya...
Trumpy and Putin are both Christians, at least they are not satanic two faced luciferians like your backward knuckle dragging doped up Mexican politicians.

Basic healthcare should be available to everyone in every country, its a human right in my opinion. In my country we have a public health system, although there can be long waiting lists for some procedures, the treatment is just as good as private, once you get it. Its not a perfect system and you do have to be on a very low income to see a doctor for free but at least there is a system
KremaP: Awww, so hard to accept anything positive... The things happen when everybody minds his own business...and puts his energy into positive outcomes...
I haven't seen you say anything positive on this thread yet

On this thread I would appreciate if you would use not use insulting names for anyone and that includes President Obama. I haven't seen you use his proper name yet, it can't be that difficult to.
Also I don't appreciate you being so insulting to politicians of your neighbouring country. Politicians of any country have flaws so if you have something constructive to say, say it with evidence, not insults
MnanahEireann: But if they using so much rubbers and IUDs as to run out of them, then they would not be multiplying
Kind of like a chicken and egg situation
i see your logic. I guess I mistakenly use 'multiplying' in an attempt to just euphemistically imply that couples were out there screwing and sharing mating bodily fluids.
