Winter and Fall are two completely different seasons...even the "Lovely American People" know this!!
If you want to insult someone...use more intelligence!!
Merry Christmas...I love Christmas and I am not about to change it now...sorry...People are entitled to celebrate the way they wish...and they don't offend me...so why should what I say and how I celebrate offend them...I don't celebrate it as a religious holiday anyway...it's always been Christmas to me and always will be.....

TheresMyFriend: "Merry Christmas", because it has been the old tradition(at lest for me)for as long as I can remember. If it ain't broke don't fix it!
Besides..."Happy Holiday" feels like your leaving Christ out of the loop!
It's called 'Political Correctness Drama'. Everyone's afraid they may offend someone.
I remember a story where Santa Claus was banned from saying his usual Ho Ho Ho for fear of the possiblity of being to offensive to women. So he had to use Ha Ha Ha instead. Before you know it he won't be able say that either for fear of hurting someones self esteem and being accused of laughing or making fun of someone.
Then store employees were told they could no longer greet customers entering or leaving stores by saying 'Merry Christmas' but instead had to say 'Happy Holidays.
Gee I wonder if the political correctness stuff will ever come to an end? I doubt it.

Well there you go then....Everyone is confusing me these days
But what the heck is Fall if its not winter and why cant you just say Tomato
Happy Holidays. The day which came to eventually be known as Chritmas existed long before the time of Christ. So, from that standpoint, Christ was never really in Christmas to begin with. He was inserted in, by the Roman Catholic Church, in an attempt to win the pagans over to Catholicism. He was not born on that day. He did not command us to celebrate that day. In fact. the apostles and the early church (up to the 4th century) did not commerate his birth.
