MiguelUknow: I haven't really lived my life to please Jesus and I don't really know Jesus, but it sounds like you have/do. Please tell us how you accepted him and what changes it has brought in your life. Do you attend church every Sunday? Are you a preacher?
im a lay guy. ..but have read the bible.
I have not seen it written anywhere that cristians must go to church every sunday. . lol I don't.
having read the bible , I think it is made up of fact ..fiction...myths ..n legends , n etc.
regards fact and stuff that make sense to me. things that appear godly. ….wisdom like...=
many things that jesus said , and some things in the old testament. how to pray for example. ..
*. our father prayer ..
* act of contrition.
* the commandment . = love the lord your god with all your heart soul mind strength , and love your neighbour as yourself.
that just a few examples ….the list is endless.... this little text box wouldn't fill it all anyway. lol
however, I think this simple , yet wise , n profound words are coming to us from the divine. via others and some have been put on record.
I accept him because of what I read about him , words he spoke. ...most of it makes sense to me , some more trickier to fully understand …. sometimes his words have literal meaning ..sometimes not. I don't claim to understand all the facts truths in the bible ….but some I see.
I also except that there is a god. because in my pre teen life I thought there was probably no such thing.. I just lived as I lived with no reference to god. then ,in my teens... out of the blue I just blacked out one morning and had an out of body experience...went through tunnel , then light, then other realm , life review , etc. .experienced n interacted with god etc...then I wanted return to earth awhile again..i ask god can I go back down etc for various reasons. then I just woke up and I was fine. I never mentioned it to anybody , society being the way it is. I didn't want to be persecuted or labled nuts because of my experience .and their ignorance. most people don't have that out of body experience ...so don't understand the facts n reality of it. I have since discovered that many other people have had o.b.e. also, similar to mine,..but very different also .
after experience like that one knows theres another life after this....and god.
changes in my life. …..well, sometimes when I think of issues , I think.....what would jesus do. I take a path then guided on my conclusion.. so, what ever the nature of my thoughts n actions afterwards is how it brings changes in my life. because obviously if I had not considered what would jesus have said n done .then I would have though n behaved other way. so had diff life.
also at end of night I always say a prayer when all is said n done.
I not a religious guy in terms of following church rites n ceremonies. some things in church business I agree with . some things I don't. . lot of bad stuff has happened in the name of religion. I can not condone that .
just a guy havin a pint n a view , never walked in anybodys shoes only my own. I have my own experiences of world and o.b.e. have my norms. values, worldview. opinions , as a result.
others have theirs.
trump is not all bad. there is good n bad in everybody. but , when he gets it wrong ...its very bad....much suffering n wrong doing for victims. :( in parliaments / politics they have this dreadfull nonsense of taking simple words and concept and converting them into long drawn out terminologies ..lol. then after all the yap yap yap in this new lingo. one looks at the conclusion of it all ...and finds wars /crimes/poverty/ conflicts etc etc etc.= bad policies.
yet in bible speak ..you have simple words n simple language...makes more sense and covers most everything.
the first commandment on its own....would solve a lot of problems if followed. = great policy.
InstincThis: I love the "What if jesus THis, what if jesus That~ -
~ if Jesus was here, and You do Believe- IT was all that powerful`-_ wouldn't that instantly imply* that.~>>~>~>~> the problem would of never been presented in the first place? -- so yea, stop with that whole Bs cause, like i said... if this , if that- but IF - there wouldn't of been a problem to begin with
nope. it doesn't imply that.
I mean in relation to as the situation stands.
regards ifs. …… don't you even ever wonder.... WHAT IF.... I voted this way or that, ? and make decisions on those considerations.
what if I make this or that decisions in my life....then decide way to go. ?
everybody uses what ifs in considering things. ...politicans making decisions, people voting, archetics drawing, painters painting , designers desiging , builders building....etc etc
what wrong with thinking about what iffs on this issue and taking guidance from considerations....???

Thank you for sharing your Testimony!!!! So many on here need to hear of this. Yes, God is Real and so is the afterlife. Knowing God, Not Religion is what counts. Being led by the Holy Spirit is what matters. It's the Key to life. Jesus said we must KNOW Him and he gave us One Command... Love One Another! That's Unconditionally. People do not have to meet our expectations, we must love them anyway.

ChesneyChrist: Closest to the true believer is rhe do-gooding liberal lefty who isn't working class enough to actually tax the rich to pay for the poor, but instead favours the holy spirit and a vague sense of communitarian goodwill.
What makes you say that it's liberal lefties doing this?
I am not a liberal lefty, never have been. I spent 27 years doing Street Ministry to the homeless, the poor and needy and had many divine appointments given me by the Holy Spirit to prophesy and help thousands. I have brought 100's of homeless people into my home to live, of all races. I have loved every one of them.
So many want to stereo-type people. People are individuals. We are not all the same. I wish this would stop. Respect the individual and their right to be who God has fashioned them to be.
I believe you have somewhat of an understanding in your statement Ches, but grouping people into boxed categories isn't correct. Lefties and Righties and even those in between, have compassion and help their fellow man.
The MSM makes him out to be a monster, which is the furthest thing from the truth! I don't how we went from an intelligent populace to a populace that reminds me of the movie "IDIOCY" but here we are. Brainwashed will be brainwashed, while critical thinks and intellects, like me are hard to find.

This is typical Right Wing projection! You take all the despicable things you are and try to project it on to those you disagree with! Especially when you talk about being brainwashed! There is no one more brainwashed that your Fox News watcher and Breitbart viewer!
The main stream media tells the Truth about Trump and his lemmings can't stand it! Like Trump you can't prove them wrong so you say it's "Fake News"!
Believing lies doesn't make you an intellectual! It makes you a chump!
Trump has warmed the hearts and minds of many people he also woke people up to totalitarian censorship and fake news...His opponents hate him, cause he speaks the truth and speaks his mind

Thanks for the relpy LIFH. I always thought Jesus believed in obeying laws and paying taxes. But your post sort of begs the question: What would Mohammed think of people invading a country illegally?
Lukeon: Molly, could you give me an example of a real reason?
He is a prolific and compulsive liar, he has cheated on his wives, why would anyone like that kind of person? And this is not from fake media, but from his own lips.
There are no options on this poll for any of the very legitimate and evident reasons to be disturbed by this individual occupying the office of the President of the United States.
This kind of poll is known as a "push poll" which, by the wording of the question and/or the options provided for answering it, forces respondents to either agree with the writers of the poll or choose a false or ridiculous alternative.

Through Trump we witness the sort of dumb politics you deserve.
The liberals are the more intelligent idea nobody lives up to. About 5% of the population has an idea of how the world works for all the politesse and education liberals don't know any more than you. The liberals are drowning in their own system they don't have the skill to sustain it.
MiguelUknow: Thanks for the relpy LIFH. I always thought Jesus believed in obeying laws and paying taxes. But your post sort of begs the question: What would Mohammed think of people invading a country illegally?
jesus enemies were always trying to catch him out on their man made laws. making various allegations against him ,right up to crucifixion.
in jesus time there were laws of man all around him in the areas he went. jesus divine law was above it. that's the law jesus followed. :)
*re other laws some he followed , some he didn't for various reasons . (instruction/teachings et)
just a few examples. ...
*re taxes ….. he said give to Caesar what is Caesar,s and to god what is gods.
* the sabbath was made for man not man for the sabbath,
* beware the teachers of the law . (scribes, Pharisees , officials etc.
we still need to watch teachers of the law today .
they will say ….these illegal migrants are breaking the law. = don't help them / arrest , imprison.,kill, etc build a wall. .the law of god is of no consideration to them.
regards mohammed I would not be considering what that lunatic evil guys side, think. (the founder of islam) but in terms of invasions ,....the muslims invaded many countries in earlier times., but for different reasons. = to force conversions , and slaughter millions of innocent people if they don't agree.. ….they are still at it. ...isis etc.
THE ILLEGAL MIGRANTS ON THR BOARDER WONT BE DOING THAT :)
