J.C. Watts (R) is contemplating running for Governor of Oklahoma. He is going to make his decision & public announcement Friday.

J.C. would be a great candidate. He's had experience in the House of Representatives. Being a Governor for a few years would give him some executive experience. Unfortunately he's got no community organizing experience.

J.C.'s next step... The White House in 2012. yay yay yay

HA HA HA HA!!!

Do they still publish Omni? I thought that went out with platform shoes back in 95.

Maybe you prefer New Age? I think they are still selling magic crystals and pyramid power rings in the back pages.

OH BTW "Carlos Castaneda" is Peruvian for Goat Gland Brinkley"

Senator Harry Reid....cannot be President Obama most favorite Senator right now. Even though President Obama is going to do a
fund raiser for him soon.

Senator Reid announced that the Senate DEMs want a complete plan to the closing of GITMO prior to any funding. Meaning that Presdient Obama that has this issue sitting on his desk.....for.....the election....the transition.....the first 100 days is still scratching his head.

With none of thier home countries willing to take the 245 back, none of the States willing to take them, and now the FED Prison system out.......sounds like GITMO might be with us for a time.

I have idea!!idea

Dude do you have spare room in your house there in Denmark? Come on Dude, take a little heat off President Obama. Offer it up to
a harden terrorist or two........

ACORN is popping up again.

ACORN whistle blowers are coming out in numbers. They are beginning to ask for Congressional investigation into the
organization.

Anyone put together the dots on the 10,000 stimulus checks to deceased parties and the mortuary that ACORN uses as a headquarters yet? Deathes notices are often listed in Mortuary newsletters....by taking the names off these newsletters...ACORN at the mortuary was able to compile a list of 10,000 deceased to make application for their Stimulus checks.....is my guess at this point.

But do to this......

ACRORN needs a lot of pull in DC. Hence Congressmen are being caught in the middle....investigate ACORN and expose themselves or sit there and protect ACORN.

There are some 230...some are saying 270 false businesses in the mortuary that homes ACORN. These in white collar crimes, are called drop box operations.....all they are is a drop box at a local post office....that would receive the stimulus check after a change of address of the deceased is applied for at the Post Office.

Where do you get the man power for such a white collar crime that covers the entire country? ACORN

The FBI is going to love this one!!!

I'd love to join an organization to help the poor. But, that $200 "entry" fee is rather steep. Not sure how the poor people cough up that much dough?

This one a final giggle of the day.....

President Obama said we need to cut back on Corporate aviation travel (e.g. corporate aircraft).

Anyways...Las Vegas...home district of Harry Reid....use to get a number of high rollers that would come to the city gamble. They would fly in via corporate aircraft. Same for its frequent business convention that arrive via corporate aircraft.

Since President Obama made his announcement on corproate aircraft....Las Vegas has lost 400 business conventions and its high roller flights have been decreasing.....causing a economic
problem in the city driven by the dice, the card deck and the
one armed bandit.

Gov of Neveda ask to meet with President Obama to discuss this issue.....did not get to first base....or is that get hand of cards to play with.....President Obama now busy with real eocnomic issues.....the auto industry failures, the stimulus packages for banks, the house crisis....did not meet with him.

For a parting shot.....

CA is at the polls where on the ballot is number ways to raise some
$40b for the state. CA is the number 7th economic power in the world. But is major financial problems at present.

Gov S...is in Washinton....not seeking FED bailout money (cough, cough, cough) and the CA congress men are saying the same (cough, cough, cough).

But if this proposal fail to pass in CA...one can expect large scale layoffs thru out CA. Edcuators, fire, police, and state workers....hitting the unemployed.

For President Obama...whose number is now 5m new jobs for his stimulus package to considered successful.....major unemployment coming from CA cannot be a help. Major unemployment in CA....could easily add another 500,000 to that figure.

CA voter turn out was light....that favors a conservative outcome....and conservative are against the tax increases in the state....my guess....Gov.S begins layoffs on his return the state.

If you say so, Stress. No one wants to see our economy tank.

I would just remind you that 30 years ago....they said the same for the Michigan economy.....as the auto industry began to fail.

We are in the now, not then. Besides, the green sector will be the boom that will turn around America. You guys that went to hs in the early 80's and 70's need to step out of that era of Corporate control.
