House REP Minority Leader Bainer....ask Nancy Polosi to either show proof that the CIA lied or give them a apology.

This is going to be fun. Asking Nancy Polosi to make a decision
with evidence

Leon Penetta (former DEM house representative) the CIA director is saying the using these issues as political clubs is bad for the country.

Penetta sent a email to the CIA staff saying that lieing to Congress is wrong. Don't do it.

Silence from the DEM in the House and Senate is speaking volumes on the issue.

Presdient Obama press man...when asked if he has confidence in Nancy Polosi.....said that he does have confidence in her.

Careful Mr. President......she is swimming with the sharks and they sense blood.....

The NYTimes just asked to have the GITMO torture pics released.
Certainly such would hurt US military personel that are in harm way for the country. President Obama so far has stood firm to keeping them classified.

Also this....

Linda Moncrief, center of the Obama/NYTime/ACORN controversy..said that the NYTimes has a second donar list that was not given to the
FCC by the Obama campaign.

The second donar list seems to be compiled by ACORN for Obama.
Thus proving a strong connection between ACORN (a organization that was saying it was without party affliation).

Linda Moncrief is a DEM and a Obama supporter.

The NY Times failed to write a researched piece showing the connection between Obama and ACORN prior to the Nov. election.
Today after a internal review......the NYTimes ombudsman (a Mr. Hoyt)that did the review....said it was O'Reilly (of FOXX) that twisted a recorded phone conversation between Moncrief and a NYTime reporter.

Glad there is no bias in the US media to the left and the DEMs.

There may be a violation of campaign donation laws in all this.
Having a second donation list is frowned on the by the FED Gov't.

Where did I say anyhing about Obama or the Video?

I was commenting quite clearly on the "followers" comment YOU made.

As far as the video goes I thought it was disrespectful to Obama. I may not think he is qualified for the office but he is not stupid.

Who the heck is this Russ you now claim to be my leader? While we're at it why are you continuing with this fantasy anyone but myself is my leader?

How about telling me what in Mr. Obama's history qualifies him for office instead of citing your theroy on demographics?

So far all I hear amounts to "He's not George Bush". That arguement holds for several hundred million other unqualified people in this country too.

Can you offer anything better for an arguement? His years as a community organizer perhaps? I know several women in their 80s that have done the same. Two that lean far enough to the left to make most Dems leary.

Obama has/had a potential to grow into a very good leader. In fifteen to twenty years I might have gladly voted for him.

If you want to look for bigotry look at your own statement "I could have told you your opinions pertaining to Obama's competence according to you age and color. Another foot soldier from your demographic still stuck with old America."

Theory on demographics? Perhaps you have not seen the charts?

According to what I have observed by the posts of men in your demographic and your posts in particular in this forum, I think I made a logical and correct assessment.

The NFL broke away from the tradition of hiring recycled old coaches who had "experience" and continually failed in their jobs. The new coaches that were hired brought in fresh approaches to the game and enjoyed success.

Change over experience is a good formula when the experienced formula becomes exhausted in it's repetitive ways.

Of course a very competent individual must have a great vision for change in order for it to work. Obama has that. Do I need to write out a long and drawn out post?

Experience can be over-rated. Electing the same people who do the same things with an outdated formula in a modern world does not cut it. America voted for change. Fact.

So he has no qualifications through experience but a great marketing campaign.

Would you pick a surgeon based on the same criteria?

America voted for change. Unspecified but well hyped change. Trade your car for one twenty years older with a blown transmission and a rotting sheep in the trunk. It’s change. It MUST be good: right?

Many Americans spent hundreds, even thousands on fads like Cabbage Patch Kids, Rubics Cubes and Beanie Babies. All were very well marketed. Later people realized they had been sold a dream not anything of substance.

Neither political party has offered much in the way of substance for many decades. We’re being sold a dream by both parties and people get very cranky if you try to wake them from their slumber.

Partisan bickering is a great thing. People get fighting over smoke and mirrors and miss what is really going on around them. It is a fantastic thing to happen in a country.

Just not for that countries citizens.

You know Stress, you personally are a pretty unique example of America demographics. When you started out playing baseball....you were likely in the little leagues with some 200,000 other American youths. Each one of those had the dream to make to the Majors.

You made it to triple A ball. One step away from the Majors. If I am doing my old fashion slide rule right...less that 1000 ball players are in triple A in a ears time. So you went from being 1 in 200,000 to 1 in > 1000.

Want to know the odds of any one of those 200,000 playing to the triple A level is? 1 in 200 or less than.5% (consider that at triple A many are from foreign countries) is what my slide rule kicks out.

To get there, you have to have very good American coaching, spent hours in the batting cages, likely played on some the best groomed baseball fields in the country. Then when you made pro....it was a club owner that saw your potential as a player that signed you to a contract.

That old American club owner took a big business risk even to own that ball club that employed you. Those well groomed ball parks were cut and lined by old American men, just wanting to see young men playing the game. Those old American coaches that taught you the game, they just wanted to a young man play it little better than they did at one time. Those old American batting cage attendants kept the cages open an extra hour or so....for you to get a few extra swings in.

Don't get me wrong, Stress....you put a lot of hard work into your career to get it where it went. But you did not get there alone....a lot of old American men...helped you along the path.

I wonder how many players make it to the majors after half a season in the minors?

Seems rather a long shot if the managers are thinking rather than dreaming.

They sure did Tom...the coaches who were young and old did help me with my game which made me a better ballplayer mentally and physically. I still speak with my college hitting instructor these days.

Actually, it is scouts who take the risk of signing players. They have authority to do so and only need the approval of the owner of the organization for players in the first 5 rounds usually.

Not sure what point you were trying to make Tom. There are many things to learn from older people and younger people. However, in the context of this conversation, I strongly feel that the old establishment has run it's course. There comes a time when the elder will learn some lessons from the younger oneswink sad flower
