remember what we learned under Bush...
Speaking ill of the president during war only emboldens the terrorists, comforts them, and causes death to our soldiers.

So why do you hate America?

ttom500: with all due respect.....we elected a President to make decisions for the country and to make policy and positions...Patti.....what you don't understand.....key positions in a American govt...like the cabinet and the 4-5000 SES positions are
reviewed and approved by congress. Congress approve these Obama staffers that are writing position and policy (e.g his speechs) for the country? Not that I am aware of.

and they did with bush too...?
i mean did congress approve of all his staffers??? NO

By the way......making any homes down in CA Marsh Mouse protected areas that Nancy P rezoned? Puts a little cramp into local economic development when a Marsh Mouse can evict you.

Strangely enough, I agreed with some of her recent endorsements of certian forest protection , let'ss some of hike without mountain bikes and motorcycles ruining the outdoor experience.
None of which affects development here.
But, I don't care for her much . She's self adsorbed

I just was showing how we had a administration of committee vs a
elected President. To someone from the AU....that might be a hair splitting.....here....is a big deal.

Holy drama, batman!

Since the man you so eloquently dubbed as Porky didn't ruin my country, fret the not.

I beleive the libs are getting ready too or already have, put protections for a 2" minnow, that might cost over 50K jobs, because they are not allowed to use the water now, because minnows are getting sucked into the farmers fields during irrigation, So screw 50K jobs protect the minnows...doh

You boys have any data to back these statements up or are you just pulling stuff out of your.... ummmmm......hats?

I don't suppose it's you two can't accept that anyone could disagree with a couple of important dudes like you could it?

NAW!!!!!!

So far it is not a crime not to join the cheering section for Barry the O. Until it is I think I won't bother to pertend to be happy about him being in office.

He can't do any more harm than that nice peanut farmer did and he'd have to work damn hard to to do as much harm.

I just hope he grows into the job a lot faster than he appears to be doing now.

That's right , we had an arrogant idiot calling the shots, and a committee ( congress) backing him.
Now we have a president who wants a totally different direction and wants to make sure it happens .
I like his direction and his words - I support him !!

You're only fooling yourself if you think that explanation holds water.

Not that much of a challenge I'd wager.

I know a Dude in Denmark looking for a new pal. You boys would get on just ducky.

Good to see you are smart enough to not to try to spin your explanation on your accusation of my hating America any further. Maybe you can get some tapes of the Clintons to study and brush up on your technique.

How interesting that so many of our "foreign correspondents" have such a high opinion of our current president, and such a demeaning opinion of our previous chief executive. Truth be told, neither can be judged at the present time concerning their effectiveness in leading this great nation into the future. That assessment will be made at some point in time when all of the nuances of their leadership can be properly sorted out in a much fuller context.l

250?

Not even close.

[So says the man who doesn't post a pic.]

And for one giving reading lessons, I would think "your are about 250" would have been caught by the editor.

Do you hate America? I surely didn't see you deny it when asked.

Very true.

Most people want instant gratification though. Everything on TV gets solved at the end of an hour so they expect the same in the real world.

Our problems with the economy began at the end of the second world war began with the crusades and were multiplied by events and actions at the end of WWI.

It's easier to blame Bush and cheer Obama for many though. Sure beats learning and reasoning.

What I want to know is why none of these jokers were around to buy my old junk cars when I was done with them. They could have told themselves lies to make the sale and I wouldn't had to say a word.

No I don't.

Clear enough?

I don't hate Obama.

Clear enough?

There is a great deal going on in this country that I find very troubling though. It's late and I am tired so I won't go in to great detail but I am very concerned when I see how much sway the media has over public opinion.

I have a very strong belief in human and civil rights but I have seen the rights of some of the most vulnerable tossed aside for the convenience of those that had money and connections.

Not Republicans, Democrats if that makes any difference to you.

The political affiliation does not to me. Neither party is what it was 40 years ago and there is very little difference between the two any more.

Too many people in this country base their beliefs on what Tom Hanks, Oprah Winfrey or some other entertainer says. Then you get the entertainers that pretend to be political commentators.

Obama and Bush are symptoms of a problem. They are not the problems.

Clear enough?
