morgan5: Hi Dru was my fault i left the bedroom door open, apart from that she has been really good, But any recommendations would be welcomed oh, and thank you was taken when trish ans Summer were here
kissmedeeply: Sorry if honesty hurts..but i have heard many people be so grossed out about it..
You can get upset all you want..
Just to see both sides..I dont hate animals but i know why some do..and why they do
the sheer idea that you are allergic to smoke, but leave the room when Eric lights up grosses me out a hell of a lot more than a couple of stray dog hairs, and you posted that yourself a few weeks ago

Well then see...we both get grossed out about things..
This is the world my dear..
We all have opinions..and we all are going to dies someday..maybe of licking asses or smoke
kissmedeeply: i didnt say i was allergic to smoke..i dont leave the room when he lights up...
I said i get stuffed up when he lights a cig..
and its more then a couple of stray dogs hairs my dear..
and my son got sick over eating the food with hair in it..
anyway dont get so upset..its a discussion...
Then you're allergic to cigarette smoke. I get stuffed up when I light one too, and that's because I'm allergic. I tested positive for it years ago. When I quit for a couple of days, I use fewer tissues and my sinuses clear up. (And yes, for the record, now that I don't have 4 other smokers living in my house anymore, I'm making my way towards quitting again.)
And yes, we all have a right to our opinions. What we don't have is the right to argue with everyone who disagrees as if our opinion is the only right one and everyone who disagrees with it is wrong.

As i said we all have our opinions right/wrong..we all have the right to speak on here..
I dont like the smoking..but i love him..so i put up with it..
My ex-girlfriend had a dog that slept in her bedroom and I got along with the dog but when push came to shove even with the great relationship we had, I was second fiddle thus she is EX. Loving your animal is normal but not when it is taken over a human, no way Jose.
morgan5: Think that depends on how you train the animal joanne, our puppy is not allowed on the furniture, and is being taught not to jump up at people, and lick faces.
Bit like children, they need love but with boundaries and discipline.
I have a little dog Morgan but she slees in her bed in the utility room....she is not allowed on beds or on chairs or sofas it's just the way it is and she knows this....she's a dog not a human....she is treated very well and well taken care of....but they have their place too....

Hi stef we acquired a puppy that had been left in a rubbish bin, the vet says she's about 10 weeks, but have agreed that should start as we mean to go on, and she is learning really quickly.
I would have to keep my dog. A dog is there for you through everything and always loves you. Why should you swap him in?? He was always a loyal friend. Why not visit the girlfriend/ boyfriend's home instead......
MavRik: Lets assume your lover can't be in the same Home as your dog or his health will deteriorate... Please be honest, I Just really need to know, Thanks
I would keep my (dog)cat. When I adopted her I took the responsibility of her life and happiness. I couldn't explain to her why I abandon her. My lover should understand that we still can have a loving relationship even if we live in separate homes.

solsticemoon: Yep I can read Don..and unless my partner suddenly became unable to be around them then my previous answer still stands..simply put I would'nt be dating someone that was unable to be around my animals..and chances are he would'nt be dating me as people who are extremely allergic would'nt be able to be around me..what being as I'm covered in dogs hairs, slobber and such like
i wish i was covered in dog hair and slabbers my young un died at 16 a monthago, i dont trust people who dont like animals or care for them

well Ive always thought there was something odd about folks that couldnt bond with an animal, whether it be cats, dogs or even bloody budgies! seriously ...I couldnt imagine ever living without a dog so anyone that cant live with em is a total no no for me.........be like giving up one of your kids...no way!
I dont have a dog anymore, sure miss the heck out of her though, But I'd have to divert the question to be Would you give up a relationship for your Parrot? if one of them had to go. I'd teach Jack to say it for me. "Hit the road buster" Jacks stayin.
A human would be able to hear the reasons and may or may not understand the logic of why their being kicked out. A furry friend is not going to be able to understand why they were kicked out.
That being the case, my furry friends have always seemed more intelligent the most people I've known...don't let the door hit you on your back as you leave!
