I know a bout the issue you name in here Alex regarding how some companies stopping other companies to make energy improvments in America and I know it from builder business as a matter of fact. when I heard a bout this I could not beleive it but it happened and still happens all over the country and it is time for change regarding that matter as well. Those who tried to stop energy improvments are truely serious and very powerful as well as a matter of fact... if the guys told not to the money... then some contracts disapeard and as a matter of fact some necessary deleveries were stopped and a lot other problems as well which really pressured the builders company to do exactly as the other guys in suits ordered them to and not using a certain kind of window or using thinner isolation and a certain brand of air condition and so on

President Obama's Coopenhaggen backroom deals, and political posturing for Climate control...deceptive and lies. That he is doing this to keep 3rd world countries from sustaining economic growth.
I remember a time....in the not so distant past...when Cubans were in Africa, Central America, and South America with thier own economic growth programs.....(e.g. sales of ak-47 and RPGs)...to the locals.

1- With the enactment of the Bretton Woods Act, the USA arranged an agreement wherein the US Dollar became the Reserve Currency of the world. That alone makes America's Central Banking Policies and Politics in general of grave financial interest to the world.
2- The USA currently maintains an empire of 4 territories and over 700 bases in over 130 countries. Denmark doesn't have troops stationed in Canada or Mexico, or do they?
3- The USA openly confesses to underwriting Global Security. It is attempting to essentially create the most basic of Government Services to the world. There is an interesting book called, "The Case for Goliath" that discusses this point at length.
Lastly, this was once America, land of the Free. The idea that anyone exercises free speech is imposing would be next to heresy. Remember that our inalienable rights are not based on our nation of origin, but our birth into this world endowed by our creator as natural as our hands.L

Now ThereMyFriend, you know ......it was the heat of the campaign that caused all those stretches of the truth....and errors in judgement.....and misgivings about the accuracy.....and desire for honesty gone wrong.....and other mispoken words.
One cannot blame President Obama for them. It was the liberal and bias press....his policital surrogates....his supporters.....they all just got caught up in the historical moment.....that had Chris Wallace (of Hard Ball) shaking in his pant leg.

Am beginning to understand why they want health care so badly. You live a life style that is destructive....drinking that aged KY Whiskey, smoking a good Cuban daily, over eating on the those 1000 dollar plate diners, etc, etc,etc....you realize you need health care at the end. Not just you, but your family.
Heck you don't want to pay for your excesses during your lifetime.
So? Make a nation wide health care bill.....tuck yourself and family into a special exempted status term....like 'no pre existing conditions' to qualify. And you got your medical coverage for all those destructive habits covered. At least in 2015 after you are out of office, you will.
Till then....of course....1000s of American....not understanding the delay in the coverage.....will die without coverage, as they pay for your coverage. But you got your young family covered, and that is all that matters.
