Moviebuff: You meet someone. They are attractive and interesting and seem to like you.
They are also clearly out of your league when it comes to brains. Maybe he or she is in Mensa, speaks half a dozen languages or was a child progidy who graduated college before hitting puberty. Maybe they are just incredibly quick witted in conversation. Whatever the specifics you get the feeling that this person is, well, just a good deal smarter than you.
Would you be too intimidated to enter a relationship or would you take it your stride? Or would you maybe find it a turn on?
\ doesnt matter to me , as long they can teach me few tricks for a trade is all good lol
Ah well , Im a MENSA member...and some ppl makes ya feel as if it was something u should be ashamed of,.... (dorks) and someothers take it pretty natural ..yay!!( i like that )

I havent had any problem so far bcoz of that
I don't think being in Mensa is something to be ashamed of. Honestly it's pretty cool. And yeah I'ladmit it: smart girls are a turn on for me.
I guess I'd just be worried if I was with a girlfriend who was much more intelligent that I wouldn't be fufilling company for her and she'd get bored quickly.

Plus having an high IQ wont make u inmediatly successful at what u do or anything.... it just means u may learn...ehrr...quicker?? hehe I dunno really
Just take it easy, naturally ... I bet there are loads of stuff that u can do really good... We all have some cool stuff...

I would be hard-pressed to find someone with intelligence exceeding mine

Intelligence comes in many forms.
IQ only tests a limited number of skills.
They were invented by Alfred Binet, at the beginning of the last century with the aim of improving education for children and identifying specific needs.
IQ tests have been misused in many ways since then, including for eugenics purposes.
One of the most important lessons I have ever learned was from a lad in my secondary school who went to "remedial" classes.
Compatibility can't be attributed with a numerical value.
