Example the local school board was working on a $240m budget in 2007, today is working on a $222m budget. All because proprty values were devalued.

Seems the local county government tax revenues are all down.....from 11 to 17% here in Central Florida. The reason? Devalued properties. Propety tax are a major source of local government taxes. So with the crash of housing and Barney Franks devaluing of the US properties.......
Local governments have gotten into a revenue crunch.
Example the local school board was working on a $240m budget in 2007, today is working on a $222m budget. All because proprty values were devalued.
Who did the devaluing?
Good old Barney Franks did it. Back in April 2008.
Sitting up these in Washington, miles away from Florida...old Barney Franks....said we will need to go to a difference standard of valuation of properties. That then devalued our properties. And that reduced our
law property taxes to pay for our schools. The milage stayed the same.
Just there was not as much to tax. Washington had sucked it up. Why and how?
To pay for the coming Obama express train of deficit spending. How does shifting the valuation of property values give more money to Washington? More personal income. You are not paying as much in property taxes, so have more personal income....that is taxed in Washington.
Increasing personal income is billions in FEDERAL income taxes. They are not going to let you keep in your bank count. It is going so some place. Washington is the place. Not to your local schools and were your child is getting a education.

Nothing perosnal but still it pleases me some how... seeing republican runned states in America "loosing money" and maybe waking up that way and giving the governership to democrats who are able to keep the budget more balanced at least TT ... how many years Florida have been runned by your guys? Like for Ever and Ever and Ever right?
And beside there is a huge gathering of great repube head tax cheaters all over Florida as almost no other states ... a good democrat on charge will force them paying more of their income back to the state and behaving civilised "maybe" for the first time ever... the money can be used to help american families whose lives are disturbed and their homes lost and covering up some lost of money for the good people of florida some how... It is not enough that the REP and Tea Party wave is coming. How big....on Nov. 3, we will know the size of it.
But also the REP have a back up plan.
Seem they have been actively making a list of potential conservative DEM.....that they can get to switch parties. List is 6 names so far. But if the wave is Diamond Head monster wave. We can expect more DEM faced with a 2012 election to let their names be placed on the list.
We could see 10 to 20 DEM switching parties after mid terms.
Heck we will make it easy on them. No, they don't have to be blooded by taking out a attack add on Obama/Biden. We remember how that REP senator did it. The former Senator did it...Just say I am of this political party.....and opsy dospy.....you are a REP.
I cannot remember a time in our countries history so many elected switch parties if this happen. Am sure some historian can track down a time. Maybe when Teddy Roosevelt did the Bull Moose party. That would be my guess.
A functioning majority party...does not have party switchers. But if these switches do the come....they are saying that they would rather switch than ditch.
It also could mean the majority in the House that the REP/Tea Party gain....could be much larger that just the party identification. Because it is all how you vote....
