This writer went to the Glenn Beck 8/28 rally as an observer. At the rally I saw hundreds of thousands of people. At the end of the rally people passed through the crowd collecting water bottles and cans.
The grounds of the Lincoln Memorial were virtually clean as the nearly ½ million people left. As we went to the buses there were no bottles on the ground, no trash and no debris of any kind.
Take a look at the video attached to this story. The aftermath of the “One Nation” rally is just the opposite of the “Restoring Honor” rally; trash is strewn on the ground everywhere.
What does this tell you about the people who attended the functions? Maybe it means nothing…maybe everything. Could it be that these people expected a hand out? Maybe they expected someone to do their work for them? Could it be that they expected a trash pickup bailout? Maybe it wasn't their job classification to pick up their own trash?
