NCC1968: I'll be straight with you.You are insulting and lack good understanding of your faith and scriptures. Your attacking people for their opinions and typing errors is not befitting an adult mind....proving you either do not have one or are rude.

You need to learn humility and respect. If you act like this in the presence of a man with less patience than I you could find yourself injured. You have much to learn about the world and should tread lightly.

I've given you more than enough bits of knowledge for you to do research on, but you cling to immaturity and ignorance - I hope they serve you well until the time you awake from your slumber.

If anyone else adds to the thread it probably will not be pleasant....so get used to it here and in the real world until such time as you mature.

You seem to think that I'm not allowed to disagree with you or tell you that you're wrong. Where is that written in my Scriptures, since you profess to know them so well?

Perhaps you know this one: 1 Corinthians 2:14 -- "The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned."

>>>Your attacking people for their opinions and typing errors is not befitting an adult mind

I wasn't mocking you until you attacked me for my attempt at humor.

Thanks for trying to impart "knowledge" on me, but keep in mind, mister Bible-quoter: Proverbs 12:16 -- "The vexation of a fool is known at once, but the prudent ignores an insult."

Cheers
peace

Alan Watts makes a mockery of Christianity. I agree with him. Christianity is dying!!! It doesn't resonate with the people anymore. Wake up to the spiritual evolution that won't be stopped.

The Bible is BS!!!

You are narrow minded, trapped in your faith of false doctrines. Investigate. I can't put anything in a nutshell--but this---your religion is false. The NT is a book of forgeries. Scholars have ripped it to shreds.

LEARN HOW THE OT AND NT WAS CONSTRUCTED.

Hello, troll. Nice to know you're not here for intelligent debate (it's relieving to know that my opponents don't even know how to be coherent)grin

Why don't you give me 7 good reasons why I should read ANY of your links?

I can care less about what your indoctrinated mind reads. I put those links up so people have doors to walk through. Reason and logic provides a sounder template of belief---or faith as you say. Your religion is false, investigate and look at if from the other side so you can better equip and defend "your truth". Good luck. Learn how the Bible was constructed, and know that if religion was so enlightening, then were is the peace on our planet? Thought so. Go pray cause we got to make it today!!!!

Within the first 400 years of Christianity there were in existence more than 20 gospels, 15 apocalypses, and nearly 50 other texts about Jesus. In some of these texts Jesus didn't die, he took revenge on his enemies, was not human at all, was not god at all, and was a wise teacher instead of a miracle worker. The Gospel of Thomas, attributed to Doubting Thomas, has been discovered in its entirety and contains what is claimed to be direct quotes from Jesus yet it has been left out of the Bible. The Gospel of Peter, Jesus' favorite disciple, says Jesus was silent on the cross and did not feel any pain for he only appeared to be human yet this Gospel was also left out of the Bible. Only a select few of the written gospels made it into the Bible, only those that told their followers what the early Roman Church wanted their followers to hear.

Already did, man, that's why I believe it more strongly than I did before. Guess how I did it--reason and logic. I know that must be an astounding revelation for you to hear, but if you open your mind you might realize that there is truth outside of your boxed-in atheist mindset.

I probably should pray. Telling you the truth sure doesn't work--looks like we're going to need some Divine Intervention in your case.

Have a nice night.sleep

Why should one believe the bible when some of its main parts are momentous example of plagiarism.

Mosaic law sure looks a lot like the Codex of Hammurabi and the story of crucifixion and ressurection go back at least as far as the Dogon tribe. doh

I'm not atheist. I believe in cosmic consciousness---or Pantheist if that makes it easier to understand.

What truth? Are you trying to push your truth on me? That is what your false and evil religion teaches you. I don't need any salvation, I can only save myself. Try it, instead of hoping for magic that'll never come.

Great point!

Common sense tells us why we should not believe the men of the time of reformation when the NT was constructed according to the liking of a mighty ruler!!! Or rulers if you will...

I thought you said you weren't going to call anyone names?

I guess you lied, although that's no surprise to me, as I pointed out earlier.

He's hardly a troll, he's been on the site and involved in discussions of this nature for quite a while, and knows more about your religion, as well as others, than you likely ever will.

The way I see it, is you, like many others before you are simply trying to convince YOURSELF, that what you believe is true, not anyone else. So I have to ask, what's the point? If you truly believe, why are you here? dunno

Thanks Kidcheers This guy thinks he can come in here and try and scare us with "his truth". rolling on the floor laughing He can have his truth, but I draw lines when people try and push it on me, and tell me I'll never know real truth or real love unless I worship the Abrahamic mean God. We all have our own truths. I have mine, and I'll never tell somebody that if they don't abide by my truth, that they'll fall apart or go to hell or never experience real love or whatever.

I've had it with this crap. I just dealt with his again in the last few weeks (long story).

Great post btw! Why is this guy trying so hard to instill fear in us? Is that is what his church teaches him? A religion centralized on guilt is what it is. It bring no harmony or true inner strength.

And I've had a few cold ones, so if I'm not so coherent, bear with me haha. Hostile posting!!!!!

This makes me scared, calling other people a troll, people who're regular posters on the forum, people who like to participate in a debate, people who gives their point of view...

And you know what holy twit? A don't give a damn in what or in who you believe, the only thing where i in believe are those things who are real, not kinda fairytale!

And I hope you don't take following quote seriously
Kill Women Who Are Not Virgins On Their Wedding Night

But if this charge is true (that she wasn't a virgin on her wedding night), and evidence of the girls virginity is not found, they shall bring the girl to the entrance of her fathers house and there her townsman shall stone her to death, because she committed a crime against Israel by her unchasteness in her father's house. Thus shall you purge the evil from your midst. (Deuteronomy 22:20-21 NAB)

Trolling is a particular type of behavior, for example posting numerous links without saying anything or making own arguments (especially in conjunction with attacking other posters and not responding to questions, as well as not backing up one's own statements).

In other words, NO he did not "...like to participate in debate," because he stifled and avoided it.

>>>the only thing where i in believe are those things who are real, not kinda fairytale!

That's kinda funny you would say that, considering there's nothing about fairies in the Bible.confused
