EriK_tg: Trolling is a particular type of behavior, for example posting numerous links without saying anything or making own arguments (especially in conjunction with attacking other posters and not responding to questions, as well as not backing up one's own statements).

In other words, NO he did not "...like to participate in debate," because he stifled and avoided it.

>>>the only thing where i in believe are those things who are real, not kinda fairytale!

That's kinda funny you would say that, considering there's nothing about fairies in the Bible.

It's a little ridiculous that some of you seem to think I'm trying to "scare you" in some way.

Seeing as I wasn't, I wonder what made you draw this conclusion. Did something I say, in fact, scare you?cool

You are totally sane. No doubt about it. You're also a reasonable, perfectly pleasant and respectful individual.

StressFree: Thanks Kid This guy thinks he can come in here and try and scare us with "his truth". He can have his truth, but I draw lines when people try and push it on me, and tell me I'll never know real truth or real love unless I worship the Abrahamic mean God. We all have our own truths. I have mine, and I'll never tell somebody that if they don't abide by my truth, that they'll fall apart or go to hell or never experience real love or whatever.

I've had it with this crap. I just dealt with his again in the last few weeks (long story).

Great post btw! Why is this guy trying so hard to instill fear in us? Is that is what his church teaches him? A religion centralized on guilt is what it is. It bring no harmony or true inner strength.

And I've had a few cold ones, so if I'm not so coherent, bear with me haha. Hostile posting!!!!!

No worries, I understood you just fine.laugh

He's simply projecting his own fears onto the rest of the world, or moreso anyone that doesn't believe the same as he does. It's not to scare us, it's to convince himself that he's right, and we're wrong.

Without that, his "faith" has no basis for any real purpose, no continuity, and no continuence. If he doesn't fight the "good fight", it's all empty words without meaning, which in turn can be misconstrued as he himself having no meaning or purpose.

Sad place to be, and I don't fault people for wanting to believe in something, be it a higher power, or a god. I almost envy the true believers in a way, seeing as it really does bring them some of them great comfort, and help them to get through tough times. The problem is, none of the world's religions hold any truth, never have, and never will. It's all about power and control, nothing more.

I wish more people would realise that all they need is within themselves, and can be shared freely, without all these "good books", preachers, and BS. There really are no heavens or hells, other than the ones we create for ourselves.

People should place their faith in themselves, their loved ones, and the people around them.

cheers

The first commandment is to not have any other gods before God. I don't see how I'd be "defying that" by saying I'm not 'religious,' in the conventional view.

@Kidatheart:

It's amusing to see you repeatedly insist that you think I'm afraid of something--pray tell, what would that be?

If you would only read what you yourself wrote. It certainly comes across as if you're trying to deny something out of fear. But hey, you're brave, right? You find bravery in.......dunno

When you have reached the point at which you have stopped trying to come up with excuses/ulterior motives for me posting anything, then you will be ready to receive. Until then, you're just running. And you're hiding your fear by instead accusing me of being scared. Very poetic.

All I can really say to this is "read the Bible." John 14:6 if you need a go-to verse.

You guys make me wonder. You act like you know scripture and then make a comment like this, that screams otherwise.

And you know what holy twit? A don't give a damn in what or in who you believe, the only thing where i in believe are those things who are real, not kinda fairytale!

And I hope you don't take following quote seriously
Kill Women Who Are Not Virgins On Their Wedding Night

But if this charge is true (that she wasn't a virgin on her wedding night), and evidence of the girls virginity is not found, they shall bring the girl to the entrance of her fathers house and there her townsman shall stone her to death, because she committed a crime against Israel by her unchasteness in her father's house. Thus shall you purge the evil from your midst. (Deuteronomy 22:20-21 NAB)

Jesus is God
the Father is God
Jesus is the Son
The Son is not the Father
Jesus is not the Father
The Holy Spirit is God
The Holy Spirit is not Jesus
The Holy Spirit is not the Father

Pretty simple answer. One essence, 3 persons.

EriK_tg: You seem to think that I'm not allowed to disagree with you or tell you that you're wrong. Where is that written in my Scriptures, since you profess to know them so well?

Perhaps you know this one: 1 Corinthians 2:14 -- "The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned."

>>>Your attacking people for their opinions and typing errors is not befitting an adult mind

I wasn't mocking you until you attacked me for my attempt at humor. Thanks for trying to impart "knowledge" on me, but keep in mind, mister Bible-quoter: Proverbs 12:16 -- "The vexation of a fool is known at once, but the prudent ignores an insult."

The Son of God is a title. Jesus is the Son of God because the Father is God and The Son of the Father would therefore be the Son of God. At the same time, the Son would also be God, because He is the second person of the Trinity.

Thus, the Son is the Son of God and God at the same time. Enjoy.

Show me a SINGLE direct question about theology that you allegedly asked you.

I don't have to answer complex questions. You are committing fallacies by asking me what I'm afraid of. I'm not motivated by fear. Your insistence upon saying so seems to indicate that perhaps you are fearful of something yourself. Are you afraid of encountering God and having to come to grips with being accountable to Him for your mistakes?

Why did I originally post? To see what people thought about the Ark being built. I thought that was pretty self-evident.
