EriK_tg: Doubt no longer. Read any one of the gospels. Jesus states several times that He was equal to God, which led the Jewish elders to try to stone Him for blasphemy, because as they saw it, He claimed to be God (it would be strange if He was not doing so, because then how could they believe that that's what He did?). Moreover, people worship Him, and only God can receive worship, but Jesus accepts worship. This is in contrast to the angels, who assertively deny worship aimed at them.

Cheers

Jesus was not divine

Although the Church proclaims that Jesus and God are, and have always been, co-equal personalities (along with the Holy Spirit) in the Trinity, there are many passages in the New Testament that indicate Jesus was not God, was inferior to God, and in fact was just a human being. Here are some of them:

Jesus admits: "The father is greater than I." (John 14:28)

"No one has ever seen God." (John 1:18) Yet crowds of people saw Jesus.

Jesus asks, "Why do you call me good? Only God is good." (Mark 10:18) Also in Matthew 19:17; Luke 18:19.

"Christ is the head of every man, and the man is the head of a woman, and God is the head of Christ." (1 Corinthians 11:3)

Jesus was not in existence at the beginning, but was created by God at a specific point in time: "Thou art my son; today I have begotten thee." (Acts 13:33)

Peter refers to Jesus the Nazarene as a "man" through whom God performed many wonders. (Acts 2:22) The Greek word for "man" in this verse is andra, which refers to a human man - specifically, "a male person of full age and stature." (William D. Mounce, The Analytical Lexicon to the Greek New Testament)

"Among those born of women, there has not arisen anyone greater than John the Baptist." (Matthew 11:11) But Jesus himself was born of the woman Mary. If he were truly divine, he would himself be greater than John the Baptist. Therefore, Jesus must not be divine. Also see Luke 7:28.

Ironic no?

Pardon me, but no one has made a single coherent argument that I'm aware of that I have not responded to.

Moreover, the only "rules" I'm expecting you to follow are Laws of Logic (which are pretty universal, and you can find information on them anywhere).

I basically just expect you to make sense. Is that too much to ask?

I think you will find if you go through this thread there are some decent arguments to your theory.
If you wish for us to follow rules of logic then proof needs to be in place. Something you have not.
And so we go on...

You seem it fair to throw the "troll" card and have even dictated a list to what is and what is not acceptable behaviour. I am merely pointing out that people in glass houses should not throw stones.

EriK_tg: Nope, people who

a. Spam links and don't address other posters (except to post inflammatory remarks, but they still won't be addressing arguments)
b. Make up imaginary rules that they insist I follow and become increasingly offensive, aggressive, and repetitive when I fail to follow their rules.
c. Ignore my arguments and simply express their negative emotions relative to me.
d. Ad hominem, ad hominem, ad hominem. Complex question, question-begging epithets, etc.

That's a troll. That's kidatheart, incidentally. And StressFree. SerpentaManon seems to be getting there. At least she posts stuff that I can theoretically respond to, but I get the feeling she doesn't want a response (another form of trolling).

I just refute your argument with facts from the Bible, how they call it? Struggle with your own weapons? And I really don't feel to argument about this..The Bible says so, so it must be the truth..

That people should behave logically? Sorry, but that's something you just have to accept. If you can't, it's impossible for us to have a conversation of any sort. (could explain a lot of what I'm seeing on here)

EriK_tg: Read a dictionary. I mean that I COULD respond to it if I wanted to,

Make more sense?

Nope...and boy? Be careful when you challenge me!

The word you used does not mean I COULD, it is a speculative term...not a definitive term.

Definition of THEORETICALLY
1

2

Well according to NCC, you're not allowed to do that, because we didn't agree upon it ahead of time.

There's no common sense rule that says you can't refer to the Bible--SerpentaManon would seem to agree.

Can you tell me why you believe in a god? I'm curious.
