i know for a fact a lot of them do..it is a real turn off when a guy asks in his very first message to me what kind of work do i do..especially when i put that on my profile what my profession is..makes me think that they are not only gold diggers but they are also "lazy" and didnt feel like reading my profile..lolI want to know that ladies think on this issue that they are being married only for the benefits of her husband.

that's what came to my mind when my friend told me about her mom, a lady in her sixties that is "long term divorced"...
every now and then a friend of her will take her to a dancing evening for the older people...
well, the mom of my friend said that every time she was there, almost every man was asking her the two questions:
- how much was her retirement
- and if she owned her flat
...all this while romantically dancing on the floor....
and the older they get, the more they care about that....

That's a paticular type of man, most older men have made their cash and have lorry loads of money, they probably ask because if a woman has money then she is not likely to want him for his.

Well, I was engaged once when I was 18, he later admitted he had deliberately got me pregnant to keep me and the money I had at the time. 
I had a guy wave $5000 at me wanting me to marry him and he said he'd buy me a pickup like one I had had before, we were never involved in anyway. I turned him down flat.
Seems money is way too important to some people
I had some money at one time, I was miserable, nothing like everyone trying to use you.
I don't let money make my life choices, life is way too short for that.

According to my friend we have it all wrong. Your first marriage is for love and the second you marry for money. He's been divorced 3 times and is getting married again! TRUE STORY lol I've been his best man twice. He lives in Naples, Fl & I'm in Chicago, IL.
