in my job , when I was working in the Accident and Emergency dept , on many occasions I would have treated patients who had the most dreadful accidents , eg in car crashes -falling from big heights from buildings or ladders etc , and who literally should not have survived and yet miraculously they did
awwww Leo got his vaccinations yesterday ...they are so very important --it is indeed sore for the babies , but he will be fine Fingers crossed your team can win Ed
yes indeed Abagail ,,,,many many times we hear that very same expression from our visitors ... Ireland surely captures a little piece of their heart For all of us who live here , there are always special places in this small island , that remain in our own hearts --for me that is Salthill in Galway and Westport in Mayo and of course Dingle But when each of us travel to other countries , we do the same -for me ,, it is in Paris 30 years ago --I left a piece of my own heart there --I adored the place
yes indeed Abagail , you were so very lucky with the weather here this summer -it really was exceptionally warm !! If you had of visited the summer before , you would have been washed out with rain ! But rest assured , even when the weather is cold the welcome from the people in towns and villages will be warm Enjoy the rest of your weekend
yes i'm sure ! you visited a lot of countries in a short space of time next time , I hope you have a more leisurely trip Abagail if you ever travel to Donegal , you must let me know --I will gladly be your guide around all the magnificent scenic areas here
Hi Abagail , your photos of our emerald isle are beautiful I remember visiting the Dingle Peninsula over 20 years ago and stayed in a hotel in Ballyferriter --the views of the ocean were spectacular ! I am so glad you enjoyed your time here --next time you visit, it might take the whole month of your vacation time to really see so many of the other counties You visited Galway , next time you must visit us 3hours on up the road in Donegal
Hi Mike , I agree re bad driving whilst on the road is infuriating but a pet peeve of mine is also , those drivers ( men and women ) who simply can't park correctly - who park so close to my car , that I can hardly open my door when I want to get back in
Serenity (red) I am delighted for you wishing you both every happiness for the future we shall miss your blogs and especially hearing your brilliant singing voice here . Take good care --and warm wishes from Serenity ( the Irish one )
I am fine today thankyou Raven and thankyou so much for the I hope you are keeping well today ? and yes , re the score thing , you're right ... meaness and pettiness surely ...a lot of negative people in this big world --but , the positive , upbeat people here , more than make up for the begrudgers
ho Raven , as the saying goes " jealousy , jealousy ,all is jealousy " you are very popular and well liked dear man --hence someone has placed such a low score --cheap blow mentality . I have already told you what I think of your new photo in our PMAIL --as regards my score --I give ya 11 outta 10 how's that
Hi Simmo , hope you are keeping well and good to see you on blogs as regards "chemistry " --difficult to explain --I guess , it is something similar to having the xfactor --in that the person we can be attracted to , no matter what their appearance , has just got something special something that would make you feel like you could happily spend a lot of time with and not get bored and loose interest . I am a very plain and ordinary lady --Of course there has to be some level of physical attraction , but for me personally , good humour and the ability to have great conversations is a must -without those 2 things , regardless of physical attraction , there would be no longevity in a relationship .
Hello Ed you describe your family history with such pride , and rightly so One's family traditions are so vital , so that memories of past members will forever be remembered fondly , and new memories made for new generations to come Hope your new grandson is thriving Ed , and best wishes --Serenity
HI Abagail glad to know you are back home safely and that you had a wonderful time on your travels around so many countries I am not surprised you feel as if you " lost " your heart in our fair Isle you are not the first or the last , that has happened to Most , if not all visitors fall inlove with Ireland and it's people I must strongly advise when you come back , that you visit us up in the north west corner of Ireland you would be most welcome . I am so happy , you had such a lovely time --come back soon
good to see you on the blogs again I think it's important to have respect for live musicians , in whatever type of venue . It is not good I feel , when people don't pay attention to the music and the musicians who are performing --it's bad manners to say the least! Playing any musical instrument is a great talent --something only the select few can do really well --they should indeed be supported --sit back -relax , respect ,and enjoy the musical talent before your very eyes
Hi bob just stopping by to say hi you have put your shirt back on again ! I would love a mistake like that on one of my paycheques just to see that on my balance statement would bring so much joy , even if it was for just one day
good times B ! ahh i'm sure there will be another "end of world " deja vu in the next couple of years lol bacon and cabbage spuds ! now you're talking ! white sauce or parsley sauce to go with that
RE: How 'Lucky' can one get?
