Yes sadly it's what the US is famous for, I can't recall any other country having to deal with school shootings other than the incident of the chap in the Norway (I think) dressed as a police officer that shot all those kids camping on an island but technically that wasn't a school shooting.

According to Geldof, he wrote the song after reading a telex report at Georgia State University's campus radio station, WRAS, on the shooting spree of 16-year-old Brenda Ann Spencer, who fired at children in a school playground at Grover Cleveland Elementary School in San Diego, California, on 29 January 1979, killing two adults and injuring eight children and one police officer. Spencer showed no remorse for her crime; her full explanation for her actions was "I don't like Mondays. ......

@ Crazy~ - .... I spent many years in the rescue services and it makes me shudder to hear that you were responsible for shipping chemicals that if combined become deadly to anyone close by. In this country we have very strict rules/laws forbidding the combination of certain chemicals being shipped together by land sea or air.
For example:

Chlorine can not be shipped along with any fossil fuel or oil

Doesn't your company have a 'Prohibitive Chemical Transport chart' that you can use when ordering your chemicals?......
