elegs, good for you! People respect and appreciate those who learn their language. Do you know how to say "Can I look up your kilt?" in Gaelic?

Did you call me a hen? rolling on the floor laughing

RE: HUG A MUSLIM DAY!!

Well done, Piece! Everyone needs a hug even the nay sayers.
Group hug! hug

RE: nice from far

Sorry, no video, elegs! laugh Have to say though that I've never understood why people who live in a foreign country don't learn the language. Seems rather rude. dunno

No that doesn't sound silly at all, Piece. Whoever you end up going with, I do hope you have a really lovely visit. It's a beautiful country.

RE: nice from far

RE: nice from far

Oops, I won't be able to go. Plans are to spend time with friends at their summer home on one of the Elaphiti Islands.

RE: nice from far

okey dokey.

RE: nice from far

zman, when I visited I stayed at friends' apartment in Nerja. It was April so still very cool here at home. So for me, the heat and humidity felt very intense. However, I'm certain I could get used to it quite easily! laugh

RE: nice from far

The heat and humidity in Spain can be a bit much when you aren't used to it. I hope you had the grace to thank your half-sister for letting you know how she feels. Jeez, but some people go through life carrying the most unnecesary grudges. dunno I hope you told her that you love her anyway! laugh

RE: nice from far

RE: Relationship Chameleons

I agree with Ian.(hope you're sitting down) laugh Real life drama is too draining. thumbs down

RE: Relationship Chameleons

The chameleon sounds like the partner who when asked what she/he would like to do or what restaurant to go to would reply with the question "I don't know. What would you like?" No thanks.

RE: Jekyll and Hyde.

Indeed, ian. But you mustn't think you're unique. The world is littered with do-gooders like you.
