zman, when I visited I stayed at friends' apartment in Nerja. It was April so still very cool here at home. So for me, the heat and humidity felt very intense. However, I'm certain I could get used to it quite easily!

The heat and humidity in Spain can be a bit much when you aren't used to it. I hope you had the grace to thank your half-sister for letting you know how she feels. Jeez, but some people go through life carrying the most unnecesary grudges.
