mjpd, maybe it's something as simple as you're just not interested? I haven't read any of the comments, but I think we've all experienced dating someone more than once and, as nice as the person may be, we decide not to continue dating them. Your decision to make, and I'm sure you told her nicely.

It seems that some women are more courageous than some men and are more willing to take the first step in many situations. Perhaps the result of being self-supporting and independent for many years. It also seems that these women can be labeled as "strong" (do they really mean aggressive?) women. It would be a shame to let fear rule our lives and to be left wondering "what if?".
As others have posted (Piece, Itchywitch, Sol and Zman), it would be wise of you to obtain permission to post our photos and/or your "impressions". Your repiles to those who have posted their concerns sound incredibly facile and uncaring....which I'm sure is not what you intended.
One of the wettest provinces, British Columbia, which is on the west coast (commonly referred to as 'wet' coast because of all the rain) is suffering drought conditions and has been battling massive wild fires since spring. It's an El Nino year - mild winters with little runoff and a hot, dry summer.
It's a good reminder to those of us who live in countries with ample water supplies. For those who complain about paying for water, water everywhere needs to be treated before we can drink it. The more you use/misuse, the higher your bill.
Bella, you won't be sad forever. And when the sadness lifts, you'll understand how blessed you were to have had that love in your life. Some people come into our lives for a short time while others are there longer and/or forever. We're always blessed in some way for the experiences that people bring us...even the not-so-good ones.
That's terrible, Elegs. It's also why I will not post a photo of myself anywhere and am not on FB, LinkedIn, twitter, etc. I've had personal experience with identity theft which took a few years to sort out. It's a horrible experience.
Only once did I travel with a tour. It was ok, but for most of the people on the tour, downtime meant shopping which gets boring very fast for me. If it's a long stay, I rent an apartment and travel around by public transport which is a great way to meet people. So far, solo travel has worked very well for me. No plans to change that anytime soon!
