Yes, don't get me started on clams, quahogs, and all the ground fish we used to catch. Almost all gone. but non ocean fish still there. Just never was that kind of fisherman. I need a drink. Aa.
Easy to understand that so many women don't have a clue. Unlike me, who knows exacttly what I want. Just don't ask me for any of the details. Or the history. Or the future. or....... Aa.
Thanks, all. Usual thoughtful comments. We'll, being short only bothered me when i went away to school from my hometown, where most folks were not tall. And many tall women are appealing, but most wont even look at short men. But the few that did---vavava voom! Aa.
Perfectly spot on, V man. Population. Once the standard of living gets high enough, birth rates, tend to drop on their own. Sometimes even below replacement values, as the Nipponese are learning. But human populations reach a point where only conflict and diseaaase can do the work. Subsaharan Africa is on it's way there. Doing the two timing belts on the vintage Wing today. Love the old bike. Well, NS, Who can argue with that take on organized religion in general, and the RCC specifically? Some of us have been closer to that damage than others. Yet, I still try to see some good in it all, especially since this fella seems to have led a much different life than most. His plans for the trip are an example. Hope I''m not being naive. Aa.
Not at all, J. I've adopted dogs all my life. And while the girls were still living as a family with us, several cats. It hurts so much when they leave us, that I always say, "No more GD animals in this household!" Of course, we all know how that ends up a few months later. Aa.
LJ. Seem to have misplaced the glasses, ...trouble reading. Could you write that last comment again a few dozen times in capital letters please? ;-)) Aa.
La noche pasada, que pase contigo, quisiera ovidarla, pero no he podido. Yes, P, just one more sign that the Beatles, or at least their lyricists, were top notch. Aa.
Well, it's a delicate balance, governing at the highest levels. To be effective, sometimes it doesn't hurt to lean on the Law a bit,... rarely, of course, and with good counsel. But when there's too much of this, in someone so marginally clued on world affairs, and general Knowledge ("they speak Austrian in Austria") and you throw in a large dose of absent abusive drunken daddy for good measure, we all saw what we survived for 8 years. Aa.
Good post, GJ. Add to the list--- Mr. affirmative action's numerous boston parking tickets, while on his free ride to Law school. Ignored many till runnung for preseident, it's reported. Saul Alinsky shuck and jive. Only this and nothing more. Aa.
Going over to Blue Hill (Falls), Maine. Google this idyllic coastal Maine location.
R. TEA? I'm a little on the slow side. Aa
