Thanks, Ash. Once again, regrettably so, we see that the apple never falls far from the branch. I may be on to something with the mention of alcohol. Tends to lubricate good and not so good behaviors alike. Aa.
We can rest our case concerning that benthic deposit from CH. But I would only add that the rapid shift to such angry scatology makes me wonderr if it just might be fueled by some cheap alcohol. And with C, the operative word is always "cheap". Aa.
Thanks, A. But big words such as petulance may well exceed C's abilities. She seems to have a preference for the much simpler four letter variety. Real mark of a truely classy female. Aa.
Thanks, F. Writing this all down, as I've done so many times as instructed by the girls. Hope with your clear note, I'll be luckier this time. Actually, tons of such stuff one would like to place on blogs or posts. Aa.
Thanks, F. Yes, perhaps that would be fun. But I am not the best at this computer stuff. I should ask an expert for help. The twins of course can do so, but I think they are sick of Dad asking them how to do stuff on the computer. Guess who foots the bills for college, though? Kids. Gotta love 'em. Aa.
Yes, we humans are funny. Often things among us seem to happen, and even with the 20-20 wisdom of the retrospectoscope, they may still still seem strange. Never got a tat myself, but was/am a sailor, and blacked out drunk more times than I like to be unable to recall. I've been more lucky in life than I deserve. Aa.
The best part of "Desiderata" to paraphrase, advises, short of surrender, to strive to be on good terms with all. I am still learning. The art is long. Manyana, all. ZZZZZZ. Aa.
Much of what I post doesn't sit well with folks who are upset by facts that don't go along with their deepest liberal sensibilities. But facts they are. Unlike the false facts and news spun by their crowds. Deal with it as adults. it's growth promoting. Aa.
You mean a few appear here regularly to enlighten us on profound levels? I'm shocked, shocked, I say. But better not to mention names. Number 12 would concern the wrath of jilted females. Aa.
Thanks, all. Funny, a JW lady who hasn't visited for a while at home, just came to say hi here at my wifi place. Left the usual "Watchtower" propaganda. I actually went to see one of their services on her suggestion years ago, being a spiritual searcher, but it left me a little flat. Nice people. Yes, the Mormons may have a mild form of cognitive distortion syndrome. Much more severe impairment can be seen in liberals. ;--). Aa
It is a fair and a serious question. But if revealed to the CS world, I'd then have to track down and rub them all out. Life is short. I taught high school science and languages, before having too much fun collecting too many degrees, here and abroad. Aa.
Thanks NJ. Yes, no reality is claimed by some. In this regard, I like Russsell's note on a lady logician who claimed to be a solipsist, and was surprised that others weren't. And Churchill had a nice take on science, saying that humanity does stumble onto truth in science rarely, but then goes back to bumbling on forward. My choice was Voodoo. Aa.
Good point, P. Lots of thought like this trying to explain deja vu, jamais vu, and false memories. Of course, the experiences of people who, for a variety of reasons, have the central connection between the two sides of the brain surgically severed, tend to create difficulties with such thinking. For me, the fact tht the details and emotions accompanying "false" memories, are often much stronger than those for "real" memories, is striking. Aa.
I would reply...Trump, seven years. Pence, next eight years. Equals 15.... Times 3, Equals ditch Rowe v, Wade Clinical Fetus Murder Supreme Court.... Aimez vous des pommmes? C'est de vrais pommes, non? Aa.
Nam. What may be going on is part of the many search options on CS. Some folks use the "online now" or "new users" option, so as not to see the same crowd over and over. Just fishing about. But may also be encouraging you to respond. Aa.
Thanks, R. I was trying to think of TEA as some abbreviation. Duh! Sorry for being so dense. Yes, Tea is always better than alcohol when one feels like a drink. And I can eat thrugh a mountaun of scones. I'm used to the sweeeter pastry ones. But at a function last week, I had some savory ones. Yummy. Aa.
Just what is it about yawns, and contagious yawning?
Thanks, Ash. Once again, regrettably so, we see that the apple never falls far from the branch. I may be on to something with the mention of alcohol. Tends to lubricate good and not so good behaviors alike. Aa.
