I am glad you had a great time with significant people in yourlife.
I lived with my parents almost all my life. From my mom side, my grandpa passed away when my mom was 9yo and my grandmom passed away when I was infant. From my father side, my grandpa passed away when I was about 7yo and my grandmom passed away when I started working. But since we lived quite far from my grandmom, so not much I can feel her love for me. We only briefly met three times a year at most..
You are luckier, I guess.
And Mimi, I am sorry to hear what happened to your pretty foot. It must be painful. Hope it will recover pretty soon.
