Once upon a time I told my Giant that I didn’t like to have any pets in the house, not even a cat. Then he told me that his youngest son has one cat, named Spartacus.
And one day my Giant’s Auntie caught and put him in a cage and then took him to a Vet to get fixed.
Anyway, my Giant and family just had a family and friend gathering to let go of their late Dad. They had a boat trip to spread the Dad’s ashes. And that’s why I could meet and talk to his eldest son on Skype. There were so many people showed up. My Giant told me about how Sparta let some ladies pick him up. But he ran and hid right away once he saw my Giant’s Auntie.. An elephant a cat never forgets.
The other day, Sparta was not well. So I asked my Giant whether or not he will want to have a new cat if Sparta died. He said “No!” And I was like.. “Yeeehaaaw!!”
However, from the way he told me about Sparta,
I could sense how much he loves the pet. So I decided to do something that never been done in my life before...
Me : Honey, when I live with you there, I will let you have a new cat if Sparta dies. Him : Hmm.. let’s wait until you meet Sparta, then you make the decision.
And I was like..
You see, I have never met someone so unselfish like my Giant. No matter how much he loves to have a cat around, knowing that I don’t like having any, although I am willing to change that for him, he doesn’t make the decision himself. Instead, he still let me decide.
My Goodness.. I am so blessed to have that adorable man in my life..
Me: Maybe I shouldn't have contacted any English speaker men in the first place. So I wouldn't have language barrier. Him: Whaaaattt..???
Me: When I am there, I will have to talk to other people too, who might misunderstand my English and whose English I might misunderstand. Him: Your English is ok. Besides it's too late now.
Me: Yeah, you're right. It's too late now and there's no turning back. Him: Nope, no turning back!
Me: and I don't want to turn back. Him: Good!
Me: I hope you will never ever leave me. Him: No, I won't. You are my girl, Kal!
Geezz Kal.. Why would you care about your poor English, Kal, when you have such an adorable sweet caring loving English speaker Gentleman and his 2 wonderful sons (I call them The Three Musketeers ), who will always help you "translating" your English into a much better one..
Aahhh finally I had a chance to meet my Giant's eldest son on Skype video this morning my time. He's such a handsome young man, very nice and very polite. And he has heavy voice..
So someday, I will be surrounded by 3 men with heavy voices.. I am sooooo blessed!
Thank you for letting me talk to all of your sons, Honeybunch. I loooove youuu..!
Wow Jac, I think you will melt in Mecca in summer..!
By the way Jacs, I give you for all your comments related to covid19 and vaccine. I don't know, but I found inconsistencies (note my old man told me someone who is not consistent is a liar) on what some others posted. One inconsistency is more than enough for me to simply walk away.. Besides when you have data by names and addresses, do something to help improving the situation (not making it worst), and attend the meeting with the authorities, then you know what you are dealing with.
As usual on the weekend, my Giant and I went travelling, virtually ofcourse. This time we went to one of countries which has a 7-star hotel. We did the browsing browsing.. and amongst all the countries showed up on internet, for some reasons, we chose Azerbaijan. So we booked our return tickets.
However, when we arrived in Baku, we couldn’t find the 7-star hotel called “The Full Moon Hotel”. Someone said that the Hotel was actually one of the 6 of the most amazing hotels never built. Oh well, we already in Baku, so we booked another hotel.
To make the story short, during our stay, we spent some time to visit a mosque. The Mosque is an architectural marvel especially at night when illuminated with floodlights. And look.. someone’s getting married!
He : That’s you Kal, in that lovely wedding dress. Me : No way, that’s not me, because I couldn’t see you there in your wedding outfit. Besides that beautiful wedding dress is not the one I have in mind to wear when you and I are getting married.
He : Hmm.. ok. Me : And one more thing. That woman is so stunningly pretty. So different from me. Will you still love if I am pretty? He : Oh yessss..
Then we both laugh.
Me : Hey honey, do you see what I see? He : What?
Me : I saw my friend. He: Who?
Me : A CS blogger lady He : Who? Me : Look at her shoes. So she must be her.
Seeee...
And then we both laughed again..
He said “Someday, we’ll go to Azerbaijan for real!”
Hmm.. tbh, there is no place like home. There is no heaven like my home country, regardless what other people say about her.
But that doesn't mean I didn't like my stay. I liked the weather, esp in Autumn. Most areas were much cleaner that in my City. Walking and bicycling were safer. Public transportation was more reliable. Milk, juices and bread were better and cheaper. One thing I didn't like was Aussie accent. Very difficult for me to understand their English.
Just screenshot your comment, later I will show it to my Giant. Thanks Merc!
What time is it now there in your part of the globe? Once upon a time, I lived in Sydney for 2 years. It's been so long that I forgot about the time difference.
