Hi Chatillion When I was in junior high school, my English teacher said that learnt, burnt and the like were British English and learned, burned and the like were American English. We could used both any time. I always find English weird and confusing.
Ramadhan is one of the important months in Muslim world. It's the month when Muslims fast. With regards to that, I asked my Giant a favor. I asked him to give me wake up calls at 4 PM his time every day for a month, so I will not miss "sahur", the early breakfast. At first he said: "every single day for a month?" and I said: "Yep, no more no less." He agreed.
The first week, he failed.. several days he forgot, a few days he's late.. two hours late. I could understand because he is not used it.
The second week, he made it. Every day, he called me on time.. at 4 o'clock sharp! But then.. Something came up and so I told him that he didn't need to give me the calls for the next several days.
Me : Honey, you can stop ringing for maybe 7-8 days, starting from today. Him : Why?
Me : You know. Him : Aaahh..
Me : Although I hope you still keep doing me that favor. Him : Ok.. alright, SP. I think that's best. I wanna keep doing it. So it becomes a habit and I don't want to let you down!
Ooh dear me.. dear me..! I would be very mean if I didn't give that lovely love of mine thousands of kisses.

Me : I am better. Hey I am sorry for being so very late. Him : That's ok
Me : How long did I make you wait for? Him : Well.. only for 2 and half hours..
Me : Oh dear me. I got up so very late. I should have at least left a message. Please do forgive me, ok Him : That's ok SP. I understand.
Hmm.. You see, everyone will simply get upset or even get very mad for waiting that long without any notice, including me, but NOT my Giant. He listened to my explanation first.
LEARN and APOLOGIZE are the two words come to mind... my mind.

Create a book? Everyone creates their own "books" in their brain once they learn something. I am sure you do too, don't you? Otherwise you would have said things to your parents, friends, and partner carelessly and inconsiderately every time, simple because you think you can. And that's just a simple example.
After I posted that comment on my "Calling Bible Expert" Blog, I continued working on my Covid-19 Case data for about an hour. Then I rang my Giant and asked him to give me wake up call at 5:00 AM as I needed to get ready at 6:00 AM (at the latest). I asked him to keep ringing me till I picked up the phone. He did give me a wake up call. No wait.. he gave me at least 24 calls to wake me up, but alas.. Kalpataru kept on snoring and didn't hear the calls till almost 6 AM.
I rushed into the shower, got dressed and everything and "flew" to the office.
Hmm.. eventhough he had some works to do at that time, that lovely Giant of mine still spent his precious time for me.
